  • According to Islam does the Golden Rule only apply between Muslims?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethic_of_reciprocity#...

Every religion on the planet seems to have its own version of the Golden Rule. For example the Jews have:

"But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God" Leviticus 19:34

    Confucians have:

Never impose on others what you would not choose for yourself. Analects XV.24, tr. David Hinton

But when it comes to Islam you get:

"O People, just as you regard this month, this day, and this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you."

So according to Muhammad Islam has the Golden Rule but only between Muslims, do whatever you want to an Infidel. Thoughts on this, especially from Muslims?

  • What do you believe is the difference between a moderate Muslim and an extremeist?

Which of the following beliefs would make you consider a Muslim an extremist:

-Desire to live under Sharia law instead of a democratic government

-Belief that people that convert from Islam should be sentenced to death

    -Admiration for Al-Qaida

    http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTI...

Among Muslims between 16-24 in the UK:

40% would rather live under Sharia law

36% said an Apostate should be put to death

    13% admire Al-Qaida

  • What would you do if...?

Muslims became a majority in your country and turned it into a theocracy based on Shari'ah similar to other Muslim nations?

    Example of Laws:

-Any woman in public with a male not directly related to her receives 90 lashes

-Any person that converts from Islam to another religion is beheaded

-Any public non-Muslim religious activity is punished by imprisonment, lashing, or deportation (any group of more than a few people would be considered public)

  • Is this the proper way to circumcise? (For Muslims)?

The WHO defines Type III FGC as "excision of part or all of the external genitalia and stitching/narrowing of the vaginal opening (infibulation)."[1] It is the most extreme form of FGC, and accounts for about 15% of all FGC procedures.[24] Infibulation is also known as "pharaonic circumcision."[25]

In a study of infibulation in the Horn of Africa, Pieters observed that the procedure involves extensive tissue removal of the external genitalia, including all of the labia minora and the inside of the labia majora. The labia majora are then held together using thorns or stitching. In some cases the girl's legs have been tied together for two to six weeks, to prevent her from moving and to allow the healing of the two sides of the vulva. Nothing remains but the walls of flesh from the pubis down to the anus, with the exception of an opening at the inferior portion of the vulva to allow urine and menstrual blood to pass through, see Diagram 1D. Generally, a practitioner deemed to have the necessary skill carries out this procedure, and a local anesthetic is used. However, when carried out "in the bush," infibulation is often performed by an elderly matron or midwife of the village, with no anesthesia used.[26]

A reverse infibulation can be performed to allow for sexual intercourse or when undergoing labor, or by female relatives, whose responsibility it is to inspect the wound every few weeks and open it some more if necessary. During childbirth, the enlargement is too small to allow vaginal delivery, and so the infibulation must be opened completely and restored after delivery. Again, the legs are sometimes tied together to allow the wound to heal. When childbirth takes place in a hospital, the surgeons may preserve the infibulation by enlarging the vagina with deep episiotomies. Afterwards, the patient may insist that her vulva be closed again.[26]

This practice increases the occurrence of medical complications due to a lack of modern medicine and surgical practices.[citation needed]

  • Would you ever go on a crusade?

If present birth rates remain constant and France becomes a Muslim nation in the 2030s and institutes Sharia law similar to Saudi Arabia would you go to war to win Europe back for Western Civilization?
