Gabba Gabba Hey

I just bought this dress for a bit of fun in the bedroom with my man:

Just looking for make up and possibly hair ideas too? I've been googling my backside off but keep coming across the same old, same old where make up is concerned. As for hair ideas, my hair is longish and purple. Any help will be much appreciated. :)

For six months now I've been dodging spending any amount of time in my bedroom - I hate it. I can't find any way to make it feel like a bedroom should because of the hunter green carpet and cream/magnolia walls. The biggest problem is that I can't change them as I live in a rented house and haven't really lived here long enough to tell the landlord his taste in carpets is rubbish, lol. If only he'd stuck to the lovely red carpet he put in the dining room! Anyway,I'm having trouble picking the duvet colours. At the moment it's a white duvet. I hate light coloured duvets though and had my heart set on a lovely aubergine/purple duvet set which I'm worried won't look so good with the god-awful green carpet. Oh despair at the green carpet! Help? :)

I have the vaguest of memories about an old kids show in the early 90's I think it was, possibly an Australian show. All I remember is that there was planet of babies (run by some sort of baby queen), a flying garbage truck/spaceship full of toxic nappies and some significance surrounding an empty toothpaste tube. Any ideas?

Now, I've had suggestion of white but I don't wear white stuff, so rule that one out.
