Can i see the scoreboard/"jumbotron" from section 239 at Yankee stadium?
I have tickets to NJ Devils vs NY Rangers at Yankee Stadium in section 239, row 14. I'm noticing this is center field and am wondering if i'll be able to see the jumbotron from these seats. Being that its a hockey game at a baseball stadium i'm worried there will be obstructions and may want to glance at the game on the screen from time to time. thanks in advance yankee fans.
3 AnswersBaseball7 years agoExperience quitting a contract position?
Hi. So I need some advice. I'm usually good with stuff like this but I'm really stuck here and borderline panicking.
I am currently working a 2 month contract position, 1 month in. The pay is average for what I do, and they've made no indications that they want to keep me permanently after the 2 months. But I am comfortable here and like what I do (IT).
Recently I got a job offer, should I choose to except, for a 4 month contract position (with possible extension or possibility of permanent hire), paying wayyy more and with benefits. The offer expires in 4 days.
In your opinion, do you think its worth quitting the current contract job that I'm on? If so should I contact the recruiting agency that got me this job or should I go to my manager on the job site? I would ask if there is any chance that they'd keep me permanently, and if not then I'd give my two weeks...(i guess lol)
I'm leaning towards staying at my current job to avoid the stress of the on-boarding process and having to tell people that I'm leaving. Pay is not a huge concern for me, and I also enjoy the people I work with.. I'm really stuck on this one. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!
1 AnswerGovernment & Non-Profit8 years agoIs 750w PSU enough for this upgrade?
Hi. So I'm looking to do several upgrades to my current computer setup in the very near future and I'm wondering if my 750w OCZ Fatal1ty can handle this load. (I hope so because I just bought it and it wasn't cheap). I'm thinking it will, but I could use another opinion or two. Here's what I plan to have in my setup by the time I'm done:
AMD PhenomII x6 1090t CPU
ASUS Sabertooth 990fx R2.0 mobo
Dual ASUS HD7870 GPU in CrossfireX (yes I have enough pci-e power connections)
OCZ 120GB SataIII SSD
WD 1TB SataIII HDD
WD 2TB SataIII HDD
Sata Blu-ray drive and dvd+-rw drive
I'm not worried about having enough cables. Just concerned about the wattage. I work IT for a living and have a lot of technical knowledge, so no need to dumb down your answer. Thanks for your input!
3 AnswersAdd-ons8 years agoTriple Monitor Corner Desk?
I'm looking for a desk (preferably a corner desk) designed for a triple monitor eyefinity setup. I'm not looking to spend more than $300 and I don't need (or want) anything fancy. I've looked everywhere but there's either a keyboard drawer on one side instead of in the middle, or the desk isn't deep enough to fit monitors, a keyboard, and a mouse among other things. I feel like there's gotta be something out there designed for a triple monitor gaming setup. Any tips or experience with this?
1 AnswerMonitors8 years agoAre there any virtual blackjack tables in Atlantic City?
I currently live in NJ. I was in Vegas a few weeks back and played some virtual blackjack which simulates a live black jack game with a virtual dealer on a screen. I liked how it was a low pressure, low min bet environment and I'm wondering, because i haven't seen any, does anyone know if such a game can be found in Atlantic City?
3 AnswersGambling1 decade agoWhat consists of criminal mischief in NJ?
Recently me and some buddies of mine had a bit too much to drink and thought it would be wise to smash a few mail boxes....We got caught. All I know so far is we could be charged with Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree. I've been doing a lot of research and found that 4 conditions must be met in order to be charged with this.
1. That defendant damaged tangible property;
2. That the damaged property belonged to another person;
3. That defendant acted recklessly or negligently when he/she damaged the property; and
4. That the damage to the property was caused by defendant's use of fire, explosives or other dangerous means.
We are guilty of all except for the 4th. No items/weapons etc were used (or fire or explosives). NJ law states that in order to be convicted of criminal mischief, all 4 circumstances must be met.
I'm basically asking, do we have a chance to not get charged with criminal mischief considering all 4 conditions were not met?
