Taking herbal supplements and packaged dry foods into Hong Kong for personal use?
What is allowed and what is not?
I have lots of bottles of Ayurvedic medicines, nuts, ground up edible seeds like flax and chia, whole sunflower seeds, bottle of minerals, olive oil etc.
I have all those things because I can only eat that sort of thing and will starve otherwise, until I can go to shops.
Thanks

4 AnswersMumbai1 decade agoWhat was the world like at the time Christ appeared, 2000 years ago?
What were the major religions? Was there a western world/civilization as we know it?
Did Jesus intend to give religion to the non-believers only (who were they?) or to the believers of ancient religions also which are still prominent today?
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWith dry socket, is it normal to have really severe headache?
How long can the symptoms be expected to last? Would it be normal to have nose bleed even for someone whose nose normally never bleeds? Is the only medication given for it zinc oxide locally and painkillers and antibiotics?
Could such symptoms be anything else?
3 AnswersDental1 decade agoDoes extraction after effect of a live tooth hurt more than extracting a dead tooth (RCT)?
If so then why? Any scientific reason please? How long can it be likely to hurt for after extraction and if there is no noticable swelling, how can you know whether there is infection or not? Apart from Xray I think.
If a pain killer like Combiflan dosn't help at all, what alternatives are there?
Please don't say, "Ask a doctor" as they are not easy to find here and anyhow, that is the most obvious course of action but please, doctors and those who have experience in this, I want to hear from you, if you are there..
1 AnswerDental1 decade agoWhat's the minimum requirement for dental hygiene with extractions?
I'm in an Asian country where hygiene is not always good.
Is it sufficient to just give an anasthetic, then extract with sterilized intstrument then put cotton on the site for some time and later rinse with salty water for a few days?
What would a high class dentist do that could be different to this?
I remember my dentist once used some sort of oxygen spray but it wasn't for an extraction. A filling I think.
So, any dentists or dental nurses or anyone, do you have any good advice please?

4 AnswersBangalore1 decade agoDo atheists who shout. "Don't try to convert me!" sound weak?
They must have met some crazy fanatics and got a bad impression of spirituality.
Religious people don't fear being converted by atheists in quite the same way do they?
I think they get their strength from God while atheists ignore the source of their strength.
21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow can I stop eating sugar? It's part of my religion.?
I live in India as a foreigner.
Here I have met very few Indians who understand the dangers of sugar. It's just not widely known.
Everyday I am offered sweets made from milk and sugar which have been offered and blessed in Hindu temple ceremonies. It is respectful to accept them but I have Candida an low immunity.
If I try to take one once in a while it doesn't work because sugar cravings increase after just one.
Fruit is my favourite food so generally I satisfy a bodily need for a bit of sweetness by eating fruit.
So I'm asking if anyone has any physically or psychological helpful methods for avoiding sugar and possibly replacing it with something else. I tried Stevia which seems a great idea but it was so concentrated that the taste was nauseating me.
Any sympathetic Hindus out there who understand the dangers of sugar.
Please no atheistic replies.
I have asked this question in other health sections of YA but hesitate asking in R&S because it may not be entirely appropriate.
Just hoping to find a health educated spiritualist to answer me..

I've given you my other details because really I'd like to post this for Hindus to read but i have two doubts. One is that Hindus may be unaware of the dangers of sugar and the second is that Religion and spirituality section has too manyatheistss and christians who may not understand or respect Hinduism .(don't know why, Hindus respect Christianity)
2 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoHow do I get lice or nits out of a woollen cap?
Wool can't be boiled. I tried soaking in eucalyptus and tea-tree oils. Perhaps that will work. Due to continued reinfestations though, clothes need to be continually cleansed. The poisons we're using for the head lice don't seem to work as well as the sassafras essential oil I have used previously (but I can't get any just now).
