  • Heckler and Koch USP .45 ACP magazine capacity?

Anyone know what the actual magazine capacity for the .45 USP, MK 23, HK 45 and USP Tactical are? The English H and K website (hk-usa.com) and an unofficial HK website "hkpro.com" have the USP at 10 or 12 rounds and even have the Mk 23 or the so called "socom" pistol at 10 or 12 rounds. Now, the Mk 23 with a mag cap of 12 sounds like a load of crap, considering the large double stacked frame. DEVOID of state mag limits (since we have non applicable here in CT, USA) does anyone know the real mag cap of the USP and MK 23?

I'm a custom M1911 guy at heart, but I'm trying to narrow down my "they're coming over the wall gun." I have it down to a Glock 20 with a standard mag of 15 rounds of 10mm, with a optional 17 rounder, and the USP which I thought held 16 rounds. I was pretty damn sure for a long time the USP had a 16 round mag cap. Or are the 16 round 45 mag LEO?

  • Walther PPS, inside-the-pants holster. Know of any good ones?

I am used to carrying a full size 1911 with a U.S. Galco inside the pants holster. Its nothing special, just a Stow-N-Go. I am looking for something like this for my new PPS but haven't found anything that isn't nylon or ultra expensive horse hide or something. I know I won't go for a shoulder rig or an ankle holster because i don't plan on getting shot while trying to retrieve my weapon from a silly movie holster. Thanks in advance - Bill

Imagine this, but big enough for a 1911 Government

  • i found a mushroom growing from my apartment's bathroom. What should i do?

I took a few pictures. I found the health department's number. I haven't told my landlord yet. I wanted to get versed in my rights first. We live on the second floor of a house. The landlord lives on the frist floor. My wife has been complaining about a bad smell since we moved in.

  • Front brakes on a 1991 Mercedes Bens 190E 2.6?

Front Passenger side rotor is scrapped and needs replacing as do all four brakes pads. Do i need special tools to work on this Mercedes? Can anyone recommend a good manufacturer? I have read alittle about Beck Arnley, has anyone used their parts? Should I just have AutoZone do it for me, they want 140.00 dollars for one new rotor and all four pads.

  • How would i go about changing my title from Mr. to Esquire?

Do i have to see a judge as if i am getting my name changed? How would a doctor go about having the title Dr. added to his License. I live in CT, USA. Esquire is not a legal title, it denotes nothing earned or accomplished and there is no institution that controls the term or who receives it. (probably because no one else really wants it.)

  • Shouldn't the constitutional separation of church and state be considered when debating gay marriage?

I'm not for or against gay marriage.

I'm not for or against gay rights.

All politics aside, when we look at this from a strictly legal view point, aside from nearly all churche's definition of marriage between a man and woman, is gay marriage actaully a violation of the federal law. I know it is a violation of several state constitutions; "all matters not address under federal law be delegated to the state".

    So what gives?

What are the REAL legal agruements for and against. What are the specific sources?

Please, personal opion and political banter aside...

  • Rock River M1911A1, $359.99 brand new w/box. Good Buy?

The gun is brand new in box. The price in incredible but i am unfamiliar with Rock River. I also saw a Springfeild Armory M1911A1 w/box and cleaning rod and extra mag for $489.99. Should i spring for the Sprienfeild or any even better 1911? Both the Rock River and Spriendfeild have all traditional parts, down turned beaver tail, horrible combat sights, big clunky hammer, shitty trigger. All thoughts and suggetions are welcome.

  • Why do people feel comfortable carrying 9mm for self defense?

Do they not read the ballastics test on these wimpy things? Do they not have access to a .45 or maybe even a .40, god forbid a 10mm?

And don't give me that head-shot bull. That's the first rule of gun-fighting and a great way to get yourself killed.
