  • Is the antibiotic Bactrim still good if it has been stored in the refridgerator?

The label says to keep it at room temp away from moisture, heat and light. My daughter's father had them over the weekend and he stored the medicine in the fridg.e, I guess he can't read labels. LOL anyway, I'm scared to give my daughter the medicine without first finding out if it's still okay.

  • Can brain lesions caused by multiple sclarosis, effect only one eye?

Doctors have suspected me of having MS for several years, but I have not had any positive test results. I am loosing my eye sight in my left eye. MRI showed a brain lesion in the right frontal lobe. Information I am finding says this is a classic sign of a brain tumor. I know MS can effect the eye sight but I can not find any information as to whether or not MS can effect one eye only. Am scheduled for a lumbar puncture on Monday.

  • My ex son-in-law filed an intentional false report of child abuse?

He made these claims about our new SIL. We have fought these claims since last November. Finally, last Monday we received a notification from the state judge who heard our case that all charges were dropped. She also wrote in her brief that the BF filed the charges intentionally and with malice. He also used the children to help him do his dirty work. Now, my question is this, What kind of charges can/will be brought on the ex SIL? A copy of the report has been given to the states attorney so we know he is aware of the situation. Also, what kind of punishment could he get?

  • What goes best with the name Jaci?

We are pronouncing the name like Jackie. We would prefer a name that starts with an R, so it matches my husband initials. We have thought about Jaci Ross.

  • How do we protect the girls?

My gandaughter's BF is telling them they are going to go live with him. My daughter has sole custody and no legal papers have been filed to change custody. The BF was physically, mentally and emotionally abusive to my daughter. We have not seen any signs of physical abuse on the girls but they do come home upset more often than not. Over the last 4-6 weeks he has been telling them that starting the first part of May they will be living with him. This upsets the girls horribly. The BF has also done several other things to emotoinally hurt the older girl, like telling her she ruined x-mas for everyone because she asked what he thought was a rude question and took her x-mas presents away from her. He grounds her (get this, at her MOM's house) because she won't tell him what her grades are at school. Anyway, is there anyway we can get him to stop doing things like this? My daughter has tried to talk to him but he either ignores or dosn't believer her because nothing changes.

  • Where to go in W. Virginia?

My husband & I are planning a vacation to the West Virginia area for the fall. Are there any "must see" places to go to? Does anyone know of any great places or out of the way places to go? Any where in the state or just over a state boarder is OK. Thank you for your time and answers.

  • We just bought a Shih Tsu puppy -?

We are having an awful time trying to pottytrain him. It has been pretty cold here and I don't know if that has anything to do with it. We can get him to wet outside but not the other. We have offered treats, praise most anything you can think of. Is there something else I should try? We were told not to rub his nose in it becuse of of the fact they really don't have one!

  • Our daughter's ex keeps telling their daughter to call 911?

when she comes home from a visit. The ex wants the new husband out of the picture. The ex has already turned him in to DCFS for abuse (unfounded) and is now telling the 6 year old to call 911 and tell them to come get her because she doesn't want to be there with the new stepdad. What can we do to convince the ex that this is hurting the children? The children and the stepdad get along great. I think this is one of the reasons the ex is pushing so hard to get rid of him. Talking to the ex has done no good. We have also tried talking to his parents to no avail.

  • Do you believe that Phyllis's baby on Y & R is really Nick's?

I think that it will end up being Jack's little girl. No one else by Nick saw the DNA results.

Also, what's up with Paul holding Shiela prisoner? It is a neat turn of events but I never dreamed Paul would be capable of doing that.

Help! This is a new band (less than 3 weeks old) and I am not sure as of yet what to expect so please bear with me. Weight loss has been SLOWWWW. As a matter of fact I gained back 1 1/2 pounds But more importantly since yesterday morning I have noticed I can eat and drink without any problem. No sense of fullness & no choking. I can swollow all of my meds without problem. Am not sure if my band has slipped or if I just need a fill. How can you tell the difference? I don't know if this is something I need to call the doctor about. I have an appointment with him on Jan 3.

  • What kind of evidence will the courts be looking for to prove mental & emotional abuse to a child?

We live in Illinois. We have kept a journal of all the things the ex has done to the daughters. We need to know how to "prove" he is being mentally abusive to the girls. One of the girls is 6 and is just now starting to talk to others (police, lawyers ect.) about what goes on but I really don't think she will talk in a court room if her dad is also there. The other girl is 4 & I know she won't talk to anyone she doesn't know or is in a room full of people. This man has lied in court before and we know he will do it again. We have got to find a way to protect the girls from anymore of his mind games. We would like to have supervised visitation only, at least until the dad gets some help. Is this a realistic solution? If so how do we do it? Thank you for any answers, we are appeciative of your time and help.

  • How do we stop our ex son-in-law from hurting our daughter and her new family?

Our daughter has been diviorced for 3 years but the ex will not leave them alone. Our daughter has 2 little girls with this man so he will be a part of their lives forever. He was abusive physically, mentally & emotionally to her. Our daughter was remarried in August and the new husband in now the main target of his abuse. The ex says he loves the girls and I believe he does to his ability, he just doesn't have the capability to show his love as he should. His latest stunt was to have his 6 year old daughter to lie to a DCFS worker and say that her stepdad hit her. Our granddaughter knew it was wrong to lie but was scared her dad would hurt her. Now the family is going through an investigation. We know it will be OK because the stepdad wouldn't lay a hand on any of the girls. In the mean time though the ex is putting the girls through an awful time. The stepdad had to move out of the house for awhile and our granddaughter knows it was because of what she said ans feels guilty
