4 AnswersEnglish Football (Soccer)1 decade agoBest way to say 'anyway' in German?
I know there are lots of different translations, but it's a hard word to get into a sentence in German as a second language. I'm thinking it's either sowieso or jedenfalls.
'Anyway, I got sidetracked'
or
'Anyway, let's talk about something else'
Thanks

3 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoGerman translation from a football commentary?
The phrase is "Das hätte der Ausgleich sein müssen." Could you please translate this for me if you have good English-German knowledge. I think it's something like "That ought to have been the equaliser" but I'm not exactly sure. Too many verbs!
1 AnswerLanguages1 decade agoAre the odds lower of getting the £250,000 box everytime on Deal Or No Deal, than any other random combination?
I do maths but cannot get my head around this. Chances of getting £250,000 are 1/22. The next show the odds of getting £250,000 1/22. So I can't get my head around whether getting it every time is the same chance as getting say 1p then £100 then £75,000 etc etc.
Hmmmm

2 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWhere is the filming for Eddie Izzard - Glorious done?
In the show he opens by talking about the Hammersmith Apollo in London, so one assumes it is in England, yet later in the show he talks about buying Jesus christmas presents, and he says 'a sack of charcoal' then explains how it works in Europe, "but not in America, it goes down like a lead balloon".
It confuses me. Any clear up would be great.
Thanks

1 AnswerPolls & Surveys1 decade agoCan you replace/repair mobile screens?
I've accidentally damaged the screen on my Samusung E900 and as its LCD half of it has turned white and a bit stirpy. There is no external damage to the screen. I was wondering whether it is possible to get the screen fixed to save me fawking out £90 for a new one.
Any help would be great
1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans1 decade agoAnother joke....Funny?
A woman goes into a doctors surgery and complains that everytime she squeezes her left breast she farts.
The doctor is intrigued and asks the lady to remove her shirt.
She does so and the doctor proceeds in squeezing her left breasts; the woman farts. The doctor seems amazed by it.
He does it again and the moan farts.
The doctor gets up and goes into a little room at the pack of his surgery. He comes out with a large pole with a hook on the end.
The woman shrieks...."What are you going to do to me doctor?!?!"
He replies..."I'm gonna open some windows, it stinks in here!"
