Can you find official documentation in regards to walking out on T-booms on a cell tower?

I know the immediate risk of injury or death because one point connected to tower. I would certainly not go out on one unless specialized rigging was available (this site it is not). I have looked throughout OSHA but it is a controversial issue and cannot find any info on it besides a few forum threads that voiced opinions. I would even contact someone if I knew who to call. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

  • What can I use to prevent my forehead from breaking out?

Should I flip the insulation blankets in new home?

I am buying a house. I noticed in the full basement that the insulation within the floor joists are reversed. The paper on the fiberglass blankets face the basement floor. When I move in, should I flip all of the blankets so that the paper is on the inside? That should make the insulation more effective, right? Thanks.

  • Do my father NEED his wife's signature?

My father is trying to receive his pension from a past job. Unfortunately, according to some documentation, he needs his wife's signature. My father has not seen or talked to his wife (my mother) in over 15 years. She just left one day, and never came back. I don't know where she is or how I could even find her. They never got officially divorced, though. What is their status then, and how could he explain that he won't be able to obtain any signatures? Thanks in advance.

  • My dog is food aggressive. What do I do?

My boxer/lab is food aggressive but to only one person in the house. Not just food but aggressive in general. They are both female, if that has anything to do with it. I've tried a shock collar but it didn't seem to help. The dog owner doesn't much care because its not affecting her. The other woman tries tricks to prevent the aggression but without spending lots of money on a trainer I am lost. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • Any suggestions for a [paranoid or territorial] dog?

Every person that walks down our street, every larger car that drives slow, my yr. old boxer/lab yaps at. Sometimes when she is playing with my 2 yr old pitbull/lab she starts barking at him consistently. I've tried some techniques, but all have failed. My vet suggested I get a bark collar, but there's different types (static, ultrasonic) and not sure which brand is quality. Any suggestions I can do to ease her mind, and calm her barking? Appreciate it.

  • What should I take for fever-ish?

I'm having fever-like symptoms but I am having trouble finding something to take (specific to my current symptoms). I do not know if its allergies or childhood experiences that I have had with Robotussin (Dextromethorphan HBr) and Pseudofed (pseudophedrine HCL), Whatever is in alka seltzer, all those common chest and nasal decongestants. Common side effects I've had with those are vomiting, high fever, hives. I have been taking IB Profen (400 mg), and Vitamin C lozanges, 60 mg a pop (and a multivitamin, 120 mg, one day). I am looking for alternatives, any suggestions?

I have a fear of taking random pills (since I have had a bad experience many years ago) so I normally call a local Pharmacist or check it online prior to taking it. Going to try Chamomile Tea tonight.

    Much appreciated.

  • Extremely aggressive cat needs a home?

My friend has 2 cats. One is mellow and easy, the other is extremely aggressive (Junior). Junior attacks his owners severely, out of nowhere. Ya know when cats bring you home a dead animal to your front steps, it's a present they've gotten. Well, the owner found a stash of dead animals in the backyard, away from the house; a stash. They let him outside, because of his spontaneous violent temper, and he terrorizes the neighborhoods' animals, dogs, cats, raccoons. There has been endless amount of complaints towards Junior. We have been desperately searching for another living arrangement for him but have been failing. Some ideas we had were to give him to a animal sanctuary of some sort, but he will viciously attack the other animals, which then they will put him to sleep, and the owners refuse to have that happen. We also tried to ask the cat expert show but if you're not in the greater los angeles area, they are "too busy" (to care). We also thought an idea would be to take him and drop him off deep in the woods, away from any human civilization. Reason being because he will thrive on little to midsize animals well, and cat instincts will keep him going. But is that wrong? We are at a loss and we don't him to be euthanized. Any suggestions?? We've also tried Rescue remedy, other relaxants that failed to work. Thanks in advance.

  • Which job should I take? Serious answers, please.?

I "currently" have a job with the potential to make good money (when I work), but another position came along. I will give descriptions about both of them. The current job I have is Telecommunications field technician. I work on cell towers all across the country (when I work, I am away from home for extended amounts of time). The work is good, I enjoy it, and my bosses are close friends. I make $20.00 an hour, and the checks are nice when I work a full week (since we encounter a lot of problems, getting a full week of work is tough.) 2010, we did a 6-month tour around the country and made great money and was a great experience travelling. The problem is is that I haven't worked in since beginning December and since have started unemployment. The next job is working in an assembly line. It's full time, 8-4, M - F, a few towns away, and its a completely new field (they are willing to train.) Pay is 15.00 an hour, but I will be home every night (my girlfriend has stuck with me when I was gone for 6 months, it was tough, but she is a trooper.) I would like to stay with my current company, because I'm with my friends, and they like how I work. Its been on my mind, and I hate being on unemployment, would like to be on it when I need it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

  • Advice on Vicious cat?

I have a 3 year old vicious cat. He plans his attack on myself and my wife, and the other cat throughout the day. He is smart, sneaky, and ruthless. We let him outside, and he terrorizes the neighborhood. Usually cats will bring home small animals kills like trophies, but I found a stash of dead animals in a bush behind the house. Even when we leave him alone, he attacks us viciously, sometimes from behind, sometimes right in front of us. During the winter, he does not prefer to be outside, so we are in danger whenever we are home. We tried to close him in the basement (there is a door down there, and it is spacious, was once a guest bedroom) but he just gets angrier when he gets out. My other cat is 5, and an absolute sweetheart. On many occasions I take the blunt of the fury when he tries to go after the cat. I've been to the hospital several times because of attacks, and he's even given my wife a black eye. This cat is a serial killer. But I do not believe in euthanization on any animal, unless deathly sick. I believe in a chance for all animals. With this winter coming up, we are in danger, and any aspects of having children will not happen unless we can find a safe haven for this cat. On that note, are there any safe havens for a cat with severe aggression? We have found several suggestions, but none have been acceptable. For instance, we cannot bring him to a foster care farm because he WILL attack the other animals. We WILL NOT euthanize him, and send him somewhere where they will euthanize him. There has to be something else out there for him. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

  • Art supplies for Vans Shoes Art?

I have 2 pairs of blank Vans and I am looking to draw on them. One of the pairs is going to be worn. What is the best way to color on them and maintain as much brightness of the colors, also not bleed in the rain?

I prefer to draw rather than paint, so I was going to use sharpie markers and some kind of fixative to protect it from bleeding.

    Anyone have any better ideas?

  • What's the best way to strip Coaxial cable?

I have 1/2 inch superflex coax, was wondering the best way to strip the copper on the outside, as well as the aluminum pin on the inside. So far the best way I found was using mooncutters, but it takes a long time. Thanks in advance.
