Well, I know what it means but I don't really get it.

I live in NY and the age of consent is 17. I just turned 17, does that mean I can legally have sex with someone say 23 or even 40 (not that I would, lol)

Or is there like a certain age limit? Thank you for your answers and please be respectful!

I'm a sophomore in high school this year and I talked to my counselor today about graduating my junior year instead of my senior year. I'll have all the credits I need to graduate then too. My counselor gave me a sheet of paper I need to get signed by one of my parents and that's all I need (except to get approval from the principal and pass all my classes!) but my mom said no. Well it wasn't quite a no, but definitely not a yes. She said she wants me to take AP classes instead, even though that's not what I want.

It's my future, why can't I make the decision?

I have family who lives in Pittsburgh and they already said I could live with them while going to college.

Help? Can you help me figure out what to say to my mom? She's not a nice lady either, so it's not like I can just give her puppy dog eyes and stick out my bottom lip and say pleaseeeeee until she gives in.

So I met this guy (i'll call him "John") a couple months ago and we've really hit it off. We were at a party together after I had known him a week and got drunk and had sex.. Ever since then we've prettty much acted like a couple and our friends nicknamed us the boyfriend and girlfriend. (haha) Now I'm getting really sick of not being in an actual relationship with him because it just makes me feel like he's using me and what not. I was talking to one of our friends and he said he would talk to John for me. The only reason I didn't talk to him myself was because I had a day of exams and couldn't. When he talked to him he said that John told him that he was going to talk to me about our relationship..but said that that was all he said.

Now in your opinion do you think he's been using me?

and Do you think that he's going to like idk "dump" me when he talks to me about "us"?

Should I stay with him ?! I'm so confused, I like the guy and all but lately my feelings have changed cause he's been ignoring me when we're together! :(

The last time I got my period was 9-24-08, that was the start, it usually lasts 6 days and my cycle is 33 days. I had sex on october 3rd, but he didn't finish (condom problem..) so he just had his dick like resting by me hah and it did go in unprotected but then he quickly pulled out cause we both knew it was a bad idea...

I took two pregnancy tests last week and they both were negative. Since it's been a month already, wouldn't it be positive by now if I was pregnant? I haven't been all that stressed out lately. I've been tired but I'm always tired and my boobs have been pretttttty tender..

Should I take another test? Or just wait a while?

My doctor prescribed me veramyst for my migranes? He told me to spray twice in each nostril once a day, I just did that and I feel a lot of pressure in my left eye and I can't take normal breathes..it's like I have to take many big deep breaths. I also feel very anxious..like I'm about to have an anxiety attack, should I get help? Or just wait it out...

My period is like a week and a half late (it is never late). The last time I had sex was 10/3 and I'm pretty sure the condom stayed intact buttttt I can't remember cause the time before that the condom broke.. That was 9-22 and then I got my period..my boobs have been like really tender I guess, do you think I could be pregnant? Or am I just stressing over it..
