  • How much does it cost to get married?

Just the certificate and the ceremony with 2 witnesses and what documentation would we need? Neither of us drives or owns a passport and his birthday is after the 01/01/1983 but he is orphaned and therefore does not have his mother's birth certificate nor access to it!

I cannot work it out on the government website and need the answer in plain english please?

    Thanks xxx

  • help with an 8month old who has a cough and slight fever-?

the cough isn't effecting her breathing so i know its not on her chest yet, im giving her calpol n nurofen as bless her when she coughs you can see its hurting her and obviously to control the fever.

shes still on some formula because of her age but has thrown that up completely with the last 2 bottles tried, shes kept down a bit of toast n cereal this morning but isn't that bothered with anything, ive tried giving her very very weak sugar free squash but shes not that bothered with that either!

Is there anything more i can do just to make her more comfortable?

(obviously she gets worse ill take her to the docs but as i don't drive and im mobility challenged its a 30min walk in poo weather! and they are very bad with home visits! shes not that bad yet though luckily!)

  • What is the law regarding cars parking on pavements even though theres a carpark 10metres away?

And theyre leaving no room for even a single buggy.

i live next door to a builders yard in a block of flats, im on the ground floor and this person often parks outside my window, ive asked repeatedly that they leave enough room for me and my children yet they very rarely do, to go past this persons car i either have to cross the road-which is not always easy or safe as the road is always busy during the day because of the yard and is a blind spot for those coming round to the flats and those leaving, or i risk damaging my buggy and their car struggling round on what is left on the pavement.

What would happen if i accidently scrached the car, because of the lack of room theyve left, when its not safe for me to cross the road and ive had to struggle past the car? Would i be the one liable for the damage or would they?

    please help

    thank you
