First, I'm not trying to get an easy answer for my homework, I'm just trying to understand the concept. I get that a chemical change changes the makeup of the substance while a physical change can change color, odor, shape etc of a substance. I'm having trouble distinguishing the difference between the two. The examples I have been given are

1)a banana peel turning a dark color after being peeled (I'm saying it's chemical because it's eventually going to rot)

2) The development of a polaroid picture (physical? But it could never go back to an undeveloped picture)

3) making tea from a tea bag and hot water (chemical because your adding herbs?)

4) The souring of milk (physical because it's still milk but it's all lumpy and smells bad)

5) Bleaching of hair (Physical because it's still hair, just a different color)

I have a recipe for a nutty beet salad that I want to try but am having a hard time thinking of a main dish to go with it. The ingrediants in the salad include

-red wine vinegar

-cooked beets

-apples

-lemon juice

-mixed salad greens

-picans

and a yogurt dressing. I was thinking about maybe some kind of turkey dish, but I'm not to sure.

Every now and then when my 9 month old kitten is playing she excretes a small amount of light brown mucusy stuff and it has blood in it (it drops randomly around the house, never in the cat box). She was de-wormed a couple months ago and was on antibiotics. She is really playful, eats normal and nothing seems wrong with her, she just every now and then passes that mucus stuff.

Is it possible she has tapeworms again?

There is a song that I am looking for but can't find anywhere. It's played in a lot of movies like Euro Trip, The Lizzie McGuire movie and Passport to Paris. It's a european club song and it sounds partially like the beach boys and I think they say "un due trois" which is french for 1,2,3.

Does anyone have any clue what this song is and who the artist is?

I can't decide who I should play this week. I have McNabb and Rothlesburger to pick from. My gut is telling me to go with Big Ben but then they say that the Eagles are going to run all over Dallas. Being an Eagles fan I some how doubt that the Eagles are going to win and am not sure if I trust McNabb to pull it off.

The reason why I am most concerned is that I am playing a guy who has Tom Brady and so I need as many points as possible if I want to even think about beating him.

So, who should I play?

I had a job interview friday afternoon and it is now Monday afternoon. They said they would call me either Monay or Tuesday. I emailed a thank you note to the guy who interviewed me.

Should I call Tuesday afternoon if I don't hear from them? Or, should I wait for them to call me? I don't want to sound desperate but I kinda am, and I know the job and the company are right for me. What should I do? Also, if I do call what should I say?

I'm on that 3 month birth control pills and my last pill was on Saturday night. My period hasn't shown any signs of starting except I was really bloated yesterday and had some cramps this morning. Is my body just trying to figure things out? I had a pap smear last month and everything was normal. How long does it take to get your period when your on the 3 month pill? Usually with the 28 day pills I would get my period the 2nd day of not taking any pills.

When selling a car to a dealership for trade in or selling it to somewhere like carmax do I have have to tell them what is wrong with it?

My car needs a new power steering pump, but the only way anyone would know is if they drove it around for more than 1/2 hour and then the power steering will go out.

Am I obligated to tell them this? I know that if I where to sell my car to a private party then I would definatly tell them...should I use the same good faith with dealerships?

How do you make homemade candels with scents?

I was flipping trhough a Christmas catalog and they had candles in coffee mugs. I thought this would be a great project to do at home, just not sure how to go about it.

I have a 2003 Mini Cooper and almost everyday now for the past couple weeks the power steering goes out after I have been driving for about 30 minutes. I pull off to the side of the road, turn the car off then turn it right back on and my power steering is back to normal.

I have plenty of power steering fluid and I am not leaking any of it. Could the problem be something electrical? Or a fan or something?

I finished Harry Potter a while back and then decided to read a childhood favorite "The Giver" and should be finished with that tonight.

I don't like sci-fi, romance, modern politics, Stephen King, Deen Koonz, Elaine Pagles etc, etc.

I prefer historical or historical fiction books espcially anything to do with Japanese history or WW2.

I drive a 2003 Mini Cooper and it's starting to act really wierd. The air conditioner is cooling off completly and at first I thought it was just because it's extreamly hot outside...we have been lingering around the 100's the past few weeks.

Now however, I am not getting the gas milage I should be. I can usually go just over 300 miles per gallon, but today my gas light came on at 245 miles. Last week it came on at 250.

My car also feels like it is lagging when I am trying to accelorate. It seems like it just isn't wanting to go.

I had an oil change the first of June, so I really don't think it could be that. Could it be my raidator?

Ever since high school (10 year reunion in 2012 so it's been a while) I have wanted a tattoo. What I really want I am not sure can be done, at least not whre I live in Abq, NM. I have always wanted the two cherubs from michelangelos painting, and I want it on the small of my back.

However, I am not sure that I want a "tramp stamp" and am re-considering the position of the tattoo. I think a cherub on my back shoulder would be ok, but then I can't use michelangelo's painting. Does anyone have any cherub pictures they like? I really want a cherub because they are importaint to me and I am a religious studies major.

What do you think would look good? I won't be getting it for about another year, so there is plenty of time to decide, but I would like any ideas anyone would have.

I am looking for a portable DVD player for under $200 (I'm poor) that I can play movies on while I am at work. It doesn't have to have a car kit, I just need a small one to sit on my desk.

Which ones would you recomend?

I also heard there was one that also had a I Pod doc on it? I have an I Pod but its a nano.

Can anyone tell me who sings a song and what its called? Its a femaile and the main chorus lyrics are "hey girl put your record on."

Both my crown and the tooth fell out this weekend. My dentist can't see me for a couple of days...is there anything I can do for the pain besides tylonal? It really hurts and it's giving me a headache too.

The tooth is a molar.

I am 23 and since I have been driving I have been in 7 car accidents. 6 of them where someone elses fault and only one of them was mine. 5 of the 6 where rear-ends and one was a nasty T-bone accident.

Every time I stop at a stop light I get tense because I don't know if the person behind me is going to stop. The worst part of my PTSD is when I stop in a yeild intersection or at an intersection without a stop light, or stop sign. I get a breif flash in my head and this flash makes a car crash sound and I see my car being hit so hard that it goes flying and flips. It's only for a breif second but it happens all the time. I have tried to do everything I know of to get rid of that thought but it won't go away. I'm tired of having that thought and I am tired of being so nervous when I come to a stop.

My fiance and I love watching TV series when we are both bored. We have watched all of Family Guy , Buffy and are just about to finish Rouroni Kenshin.

We love anime so any anime suggestions would be awesome. But we also like TV shows like Buffy and Angel and Scrubs, Friends etc.

We are looking for a series that is already finished that way we don't have to wait for the next seasons to come out on DVD.

Any ideas?

I was wondering if anyone could give me the pro's and cons of being a Pampered Chef consultant. I love pampered chef and I have pretty much all of the products. I was on the website and it said that the starting cost was $155. The kit however included everything that I already have. Would I have to buy them again?

Also, is it hard to book parties? How often do you get paid? My last question is, how time consuming is it?

I have never used ebay before but have heard all these crazy stories about how people have sold practically everything I own on Ebay.

I guess my question is, how do you get started and get people to buy your junk?

Also, I have one of the first game boys, the old clunky grey ones and it has some games, would anyone buy that? Is it considered a collectors item?
