I can translate Hindi to English if it's not written with English letters. However most of the people on FB write in english letters. Is there a page, website where a person can translate Hindi to English. For example... please translate for me ... Barso ke Purane Zakhm par Marham Laga sa hai. ...... <-- note those are English letters but written in Hindi. There is no website i can find to translate it. It would be soooo much easier to keep in a conversation with my Hindi speaking friends. Many thanks!

This is similar to a question posed by "Emily", but I am not sure if she had a gas or oil furnace? If she had an oil furnace I'd tell her to try bleeding it...but anyways...

Mine is an oil furnace Beckett model AF. First it ran out of oil (long story, I rent... LL did not fill tank). Anyways I had 100 gallons of oil put in on Dec 3rd and bled the furnace. It started to work that same day (Dec 3.) Today (Dec 8th), it stopped working. Last night I fell asleep and the furnace was running. I woke up and it was warm so I turned the furnace off. Normally instead of turning it down, I turn it off as it is at 55 F when it's on, so there is no room to turn it down.

It started to get chilly in here about an hour later. I went to turn it on, by on I mean I turned the emergency switch back on. Now it won't run at all. What happens is I hit the red reset button, it makes that wrrrrr sound and then dies. I believe the pilot lite is not turning on, but I can't see it?

So I thought it might have air in the line or maybe for whatever reason it needed to be bled. So I bled it again and now I see first air, then a tad bit of oil coming slowly, then it goes a bit faster then it stops. While I bleed it, I keep my finger on the white button (the same button that if not pressed in will cause the furnace not to work. When you close the door it presses in the button). This furnace is in a mobile home.

Now all of you will say, call your LL. Well that's a neat idea and I did, but he refuses to fix it. Why you ask? I sent a letter explaining things needed to be repaired in the mobile home and for him to fix it, one being the furnace needed to be cleaned, needed a new filter (it has not had any cleaning or maintenance since I moved in in Jan 2008. The only thing was the older furnace heater (like the beckett, not the blower, died and was replaced last year!). The LL called me up and told me he wasn't going to repair anything and for me to move. I do know this is illegal (retaliatory eviction) but I have to wait for court. I can't call the police and say "hey LL isn't following the law, arrest him!" I can't force him to do anything, only a judge can.

I am NOT going to call a repair person and fix it as I am moving next week. I need heat as it's below 20 degrees F outside and the pipes will freeze. No the LL won't care if they will freeze as he froze them himself before I moved in, by not heating the place.

So any advice what might be wrong? I am pretty good at following directions, I have fixed many things around here by learning on the net as well as learned to bleed the furnace by following online directions. (Not including building shelves etc.)

I am thinking about getting a portable oil heater as they take K1 if I can't fix this furnace. I have K1 in my outdoor tank (necessary to prevent the oil from freezing, K2 will freeze where I live!)

I'd love to hear some funny military stories, basic stories, drill instructor quotes etc. Laughter is the best medicine during difficult times.

My son promised me a ticket to sit up front at graduation. His father gave the ticket away (made plans) so now his father, his father's gf and her kids and my daughter get to sit up front.

I feel like I'm not wanted. My son said "well dad made plans you know you can still go".

If he wanted me to go, wouldn't he have made sure I got a ticket? Wouldn't he have called and told me he got the tickets and have given me one on Friday.

He blames me because when my ex called, I was dead asleep and he asked me "are you going to graduation". I said "I don't have a ticket. How can I go? No I can't go without a ticket".

I can go, but I'll be all the way in the back. Since it seems like he has a new mom & new brothers and sisters, I don't even want to go.

I was not invited to the Senior Chapel, the brunch with the family, the swearing in when he joined the military.

I am hurt. What else am I going to miss in the future? I feel like cutting all ties with my child so I won't be hurt again. Selfish? Perhaps. It's a way of survival, I've been left out and hurt so much I can't deal with it anymore.

Would you go? If so why? If not why?

They want to put in a reused junk yard motor, because Maine law says you can refuse used parts and because it devalues the car and mechanics said NOT to let them put in a rebuilt motor, I said no, fix the engine or replace the car. Since i said no they took my loaner away. The problem started the day I bought it (check engine blinking) and it's been 16 months and still I'm waiting, 4 of those months it's been in the shop and I had make my car payments to their auto financing and pay insurance for a car I can't drive! Now I had to buy another car to drive as they took the loaner away.

What do I put on the picket sign? I am picketing them for the next 2 or 3 days. (I am also handing out letters to people who ask questions).

I bought my car in April of 2007. I know it's been over a year. I brought it in the day after I bought it as the check engine would blink every time my car would idle. They said put dry gas in it. It didn't work. The car had a 30 day warranty. I brought the car back as the problem wouldn't start and they said it was out of warranty. I got upset and they sent me to a different place 45 miles away (they owned) to get it fixed. I brought it there they replaced some coils etc and they gave me a loaner. They said it was fixed. I drove 45 miles to pick it up didn't even get it home and the check engine light started to blink and came on.

So I called them up made another appointment. Brought it in. No loaner this time, had to wait. I was told it was the computer and they'd order one. (Note this service dept has 1, yes 1 mechanic). The company is pretty large and each business has it's owner (one of the son's of the original owner) and there is a CEO etc.

So anyways the mechanic never calls me back. I wait 2 weeks call him back and he said he wrote down the wrong part number to bring it back... so I brought it back (this is now about Oct) and he writes down the part number.

I missed a few appointments because of storms (lot of snow in winters of Maine). I call him back and tell him look this has to be fixed I have to get my car inspected. So he makes an appt with me.

I go in and he doesn't have the computer he was supposed to order. He told me it was no longer under warranty and to get out.

I called his boss and tell him what's going on. (I am now living in the same town where this mechanic works on cars). They decide to send me back to where I bought the car 45 miles away.

Well I did. And it's been there since May 15. It's been over 2 months. They replaced the engine (didn't fix it). They cleaned carbon off the engine didn't fix the problem. They never ran any diagnostics. They can't figure out what is wrong nor can a ford dealership that they took it to.

First they wanted me to sell them the car for $1500 and eat the remaning amount I owed. Basically I owe 5500 and so they'd give me $1500 for the car, I'd still owe $4k. Then they wanted me to buy another car that they swore they would give me a good deal and take the price of the new car and add 4k to it. I told them no way. I wasn't stupid.

So they've been messing around and not doing much with it. The few times they said it was fixed, it wasn't. After 2 days they'd turn the car on, guess what check engine light came back on.

Now they say it's the motor. They want to put in a rebuilt engine from a junk yard. I said no way. It had a ford engine in it when I bought it, I want a ford engine in it now.

All I wanted in the beginning was to switch cars. I told them it wasn't inspectable and should never been inspected, they agree. I told them I am paying for a car I can't drive, they agree.

Now because I won't accept the used engine idea, they took away my loaner. I have no car to drive. They said it's coz of lack of communication. Funny I just talked to them not more then 7 days ago. They said they tried calling me, I don't have any missed calls from them (my voice mail box is filled up).

Now I am paying for a car, insuring it and I can't drive it, I have nothing to drive.

I called the attorney general and because it's been so long that they've been messing with this car, they are willing to do mediation. My other option is small claims court (max in maine is $4500 it wouldn't even cover what I owe). I could do a lawyer, and I have one, but he said I'd pay him as much as I owe on the car. (It's down to principal at this point).

So what do I do? Go to small claims court? I am definately speaking with the attorney general's office and doing mediation. Meanwhile I have no car to drive. I can not drive that car off the lot (for one if the motor blows obviously they won't cover it).

Isn't there anything else I can do? I live in Maine.. it's rural, how am I to get from place to place. I am driving a rental it is costing me a fortune.

Can the dealership do this? Can they hold my car hostage and not give me anything to drive? Can they mess around for over a year pretending to fix it when they didn't even diagnose it?

Please any advice would be great. Yes I am going to the Attorney General (but it will take weeks, I can't walk 25 miles to work every day). I can't get another vehicle because I already have one loan out. I have NOTHING to drive yet I owe money on it.

I can't talk to the bank, like an idiot I did in house financing (they have a so called "bank" that is owned by the same comapny... Lee Holdings)

It doesn't fall under the lemon law as this law states the car must be less then 3 years old and under 18k miles.

All I want is for them to take this junk car back and give me a car that is worth the same amount that the other car was supposedly worth.

It's a warranty issue. they replaced the coils (3x) they replaced the computer engine. They tried everything. They brought it to a mercury dealership to fix. They can not determine the problem.

Now that I've declined their offer to "sell" the vehicle for $1500 (even tho I owe $5500) to them and still pay 4k as well as buy another vehicle (so they roll loan over to another vehicle, I said NO) all of a sudden it's fixed? It was 1st a carbon build up on the engine (wrong, I go to pick it up engine is on). Now they say they "cleaned the valves" HELP now what do I do. I have to go to the dealership.

Mercury Sable 2000 automatic (plz advise help!)

It's a warranty issue. they replaced the coils (3x) they replaced the computer engine. They tried everything. They brought it to a mercury dealership to fix.

Now that I've declined their offer to "sell" the vehicle for $1500 (even tho I owe $5500) to them and still pay 4k as well as buy another vehicle (so they roll loan over to another vehicle, I said NO) all of a sudden it's fixed? It was carbon build up on the engine. They diagnosed using a scope, didn't even take the motor apart.

Please help I am afraid to pick it up. What if the engine goes? I am a female I do not know any guy who can go with me to look at the car. I told them to bring the car to me (they have a dealership in my town) 45 miles from service dept. They say no.

I can access email via other yahoo accounts, but one in particular, my main one, I can't check my email not via the web or my cell phone. It worked fine at 2:00pm est.
