  • Sleeping issues? Problems falling asleep.?

My girlfriend has had sleep issues for about a year now. She needs some type of noise to fall asleep and stay asleep (tv), which is absolutely not a problem. But she stays awake until 6, 7, even 9am completely exhausted and tired but can't seem to go to sleep. I feel terrible because I'm lying next to her and I'm able to sleep through anything and get to sleep within minutes.

Is there anything she can do or I can do to help her? Even taking 5 sleeping pills doesn't do anything. I'm not sure what the problem is but I was maybe thinking about having her write all of her thoughts down right before she goes to sleep to clear her head. I don't know. I'm at a loss here.

  • Weekend Trip Out of Daytona Beach?

I'm looking to go on a small weekend trip leaving out of Daytona Beach. I am really up for anything from camping to staying in a bigger city. However, if I were to camp I'd like to get a different scenery then the "normal" Florida. But I was also looking into Savannah, Ga.

I am just really drawing a blank here. Any recommendations would be helpful. Thank You

  • Volkswagen GTI so cheap?

I've been looking for cars and found a Volkswagen GTI from a dealership with 25,000 miles for $5,000 under the KBB value. Carfax is clean, no damages, from the pics it looks great. However, it shows that it was used for commercial use. I wanna know what the catch is before I go and take a look at it since it is 2+hours away from me. Should I just email and ask why the price is so low? There was a second owner that had it for less the 1k miles.

Any recommendations would be helpful. Thank You

  • Need help in deciding what STUDENT LAPTOP I should purchase.?

I am currently looking to buy a laptop for myself in order to do work on it for school. I am not going into art or anything like that. The most I would need is Microsoft Office. I would like to have plenty of space for maybe some music or dvds to watch when I am traveling. I also don't want this to basically be useless in 2 years either.

So what would you recommend? Thanks

  • WOW Any tips From Mages pvping Locks?

I am a lvl 22 Mage and have a friend who is a lvl 20 warlock. He and I always quest together but we also duel eachother for fun. He is usually the one who wins though. Even when I was 7 lvls higher then him.

All he does to kill me is use his fear and then dot me. I manage to get his hp down about half before he finally lets me go.

My strategy is to only use my instant cast spells to try and interrupt his fear. I usually die.

Another question. What is my new lvl 22 fire spell good for? I forget what its called but it does little damage (in the 50s) and has a cast time of 1.2sec. Anything I am missing here?

Any tips on killing a Lock?

  • Exercising my pecks at home?

I am starting to have a regular schedule of working out at home. I am doing things like crunchies and push-ups. What other exercises can I do to get in shape without the use of exercise equipment or a gym. I am currently paying for pilot lessons and that is taking up all my money.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

  • Real Airplane to FSX?

I am starting my private pilot lessons this Friday and I am so excited.

I was wondering how close is the cockpit on the Cessna 172 in Flight Simulator X to a real Cessna 172.

Also by any chance is the cockpit of a 172 similar to a 152?

    Thanks

  • So what are my options? I took my car in for a ratteling noise.?

I purchased the car, used, back on Easter weekend of this year. I also bought the warranty for 3 years. I bought the car from a big dealership which said they do 112 point inspections on all the cars.

This past Fri. I took it in because of a ratteling noise in the rear of the car and also the left front tire was wearing down faster then the rest.

I got a call yesterday saying that my gas tank was dented and I had other damages to the underside of my car including the ball bearings. I know for a fact that I did not do this. This had to have been from the previous owner of the car. They are saying the total cost of this will turn out to be $1,700!

Is there anything I can do to either minimize that or somehow get my insurance to pick it up? My warranty won't pick it up because it is damaged not a malfunction.

Any advice would be great. Thanks!

  • Home Water Softener Question.?

We have a crack in our water softener and are looking to replace it. Now our softner now has a seperate canister for the salt. Right now we are putting 50lb blocks of salt in which lasts almost a whole month.

The new systems we are looking at has the canister attached. However, we have to use the salt pellets which last about half the time as the 50lb block in our system now. Will the new system use less salt?

  • Financial Aid for a flight school. Where to look?

I am going to be starting my flying lessons soon and was wondering where I can get financial aid.

What company provides a student loan for a someone who is going to a small FBO. I will be pursuing this for a career so I don't know if that will make a difference.

I live in Illinois a little south of Chicago if that matters.

  • American Airlines down at O'hare?

Does anyone know what happened to an American Airlines plane at O'hare International Airport in Chicago last Thursday at around 2:55pm? It looked like a Boeing 767.

I was coming in from Cancun and we landed on runway 9R. On the taxiway I noticed a Boeing 767 at the end of the runway (on the taxiway) with ambulance, squad cars, and firetrucks surrounding it. All with their lights on. I also so shuttle busses speeding towards the plane and then hold back.

  • Best route to take for a commercial pilot?

I want to become a commercial jet pilot or a jet cargo pilot.

What would be the best route to take without going into a 4 year college?

Should I attend one of those Flight Academys from start to finish?

Or should I obtain my regular certificates from a local flight instructor? When I do that where can I go for my jet transition?

Also, what are all the certificates leading up to a commercial jet certificate?

If you have any different suggestions please let me know.

    Thank You

  • Explain Civil Air Patrol Please?

I have actually just recently heard about the Civil Air Patrol and I am curious about it.

    1) Do they offer a pilot school?

    2) What exactly do they do?

    3) Do they go overseas?

    4) Is it like a military reserve type thing where the CAP will require me to go out or do I help when I want?

    5) Would it get in the way with my job? Or is it again like the military where it is illegal to fire someone that is called out?

    6) Do I have to go for basic training at all?

    7) Where is basic training located at?

    8) Anyother information I should know about?

    Thanks

  • How is this plan?

Would you reccommend I continue with this plan?

I really want to become a pilot, but I am really not one for school because of all the other classes that I am required to take, for example art history... I know I want to become a pilot so why do I have to take art history?

Anyways, do you think it would be a good idea if I join the Air Force Reserves and get help for the costs of a flight academy? While I am in the reserves I would like to begin my flight academy schooling.

Or would it be better if I just take out a student loan and begin my schooling on my own?

I do not have 20/20 vision so piloting in the Air Force would be limited a bit. I also do not want to go into active duty.

    Thanks in advance.
