Does a digital TV need an aerial?
At the moment my main TV is connected to Virgin box but I would like to get a TV for the bedroom.
I thought that it would not need an aerial or some digital TVs have an internal aerial?
If it does need an aerial - any recommendations?
Many thanks!
8 AnswersTVs8 years agoVeggie alternative to Kidney beans?
I am cooking for someone elderly who cannot digest meat very well at the moment; just boiled and steamed food. I was going to try some veggie burgers using a recipe that combines kidney beans with breadcrumbs and an egg (and herbs) but she cannot eat kidney beans. Any suggestions to alternative to kidney beans in veggie burger (recipe) or any other foods that you think might be good to cook/use? Many thanks!
9 AnswersVegetarian & Vegan8 years agoCan you build a wall next to a garden wall and on top of a concrete floor?
Hi, I have really awful neighbours who throw things over the wall etc and have broke down some of the fence which I had erected next to the garden wall (I have threatened police etc.) I was wondering whether I could build a wall beside the existing garden wall to a height of around 4-5 feet and about 4-5 feet wide. It is behind the garage and there is a concrete floor. Reading forums etc, it seems best to dig down for the freeze footer - but was wondering if any suggestions? Many thanks
2 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)8 years agoComments made outside of a workplace - disciplinary?
We are a small workplace and do not have a set HR department. Some of them are paid employees and some are volunteers.
A complaint has been made by one of the paid employees that a volunteer has said something about him in the workplace which she admits and has now apologised. But the paid employee is not satisfied and wants her removed due to a breach of confidence and trust. He also wants the source of the comments investigated even though the source was made outside of the work place.
What are the rights of the volunteer and that of the paid employee? Is the employer responsible for comments made by a person (who apparently also works here) outside of the workplace?
Please could you supply relevant law/cases so that I can research further? Many thanks.

4 AnswersOther - Business & Finance1 decade agoWorking out percentage from a total - VAT?
Please can anyone explain the formula for working out the percentage from a total price.
I know that e.g. if something was £100 + VAT, then it would be £100 + £15 (15% VAT) = £115.
However, if the price states includes VAT - then what is the calculation (formula) for working out which part of £100 is the price and which part is the VAT.
Can you please show me the same calculation for if the VAT was 17.5%?
Thanks
