I understand that Gardner probably did not play well enough to beat great teams but his play was decent. Imagine if reps were given to Gardner as a Junior and Bellomy as a Freshman to finish the season. Then the QB position would be solid in terms of experience going into next year. I just think it helps out Michigan football, Denard Robinson (in his attempt to be relevant in the NFL), as well as the progression of Michigan football. Thoughts???

Looking at the list of winners I think the Heisman committee should take it away from some of the recent winners. If it is an individual award then you must be able to display enough talent to get by in the NFL. It seems as though it has turned into the most popular QB the most popular team.
