I'm new at this. I set the recorder earlier tonight, shut off recorder, and program did not record. I have a JVC DVD/VCR combo recorder. There was plenty of room on DVD; and the program record was wiped out (as if it recorded). What am I doing wrong?

The McMartin preschool was located in Manhattan Beach, CA in early 80's; and was involved in a controversial trial concerning child abuse; one of the largest in US history. I need the physical address of the preschool. Can anyone help me? FYI - the preschool building was demolished years ago and no longer exists.

I have a 30 GB video iPOD (5th generation). The MP4 video plays fine in iTunes (using Quicktime); but when I try to sync my iPod to load the video onto it, it says "video not copied; cannot be copied to this iPod". Any suggestions on why? Thanks.

My next door homeowner neighbor is a member of a screamo-type rock band that practices in his tiny living room 2x a week, 2 hrs/session. I can clearly hear the music in my house as the homes are only 15 ft apart. Three weeks, ago, I politely asked him to "tone it down" and the music has diminished with very few sessions since that time. However, one thug band member is living at the home; and now has decided to play games as retaliation for my request (i.e., lets dog pee in my yard; parks to block my driveway, etc). What do you think about what I call "killing with kindness"; for instance send a pizza to the house, waving hello, etc. Any other recommendations on how to resolve this? The neighbors on the other side of this house also are disgruntled at the noise but will not approach the homeowner, like I did. Any suggestions are appreciated. Calling the police is the absolute last option.

I have a 2nd generation 30 gb iPod. I got a new computer with Windows Vista a few months back and found out the photos would not load properly onto iPod from the iTunes library (compatability problem). Has that been resolved? I don't want to sync my iPod with my new computer and have my photos wiped out. Any help is appreciated!
