I tripped and fell at work this morning, the floor was wet - there were puddles of water, which caused me to slip. There were no signs up saying wet floor or anything. I slipped and fell forward (heavily) i have hurt and bruised my knees and also my wrists feel sore from trying to break my fall. Can I make a claim against the company even though I haven't broken anything. What should I do? I have written in the accident book, so there is a record of my accident (and taken a copy of what I wrote).

My friend is going to go it alone as a mobile therapist in the new year, but is struggling to think of a name.

We have found a house we like, it is on the market for £195k (offers in the region of) They have already had an offer, but the vendors haven't agreed to anything yet. What would be a sensible amount to offer, we were hoping to offer 185k, but do you think we would be wasting our time as they have already had an offer.

We are looking to buy a house and a few of these have come up in our search. I understand from googling that these were built after the 2nd world war and were only intended to last for 10 years. 60 years later they're still standing. Do you think this would be a good house to buy or would you avoid it, we have spoken to a mortgage advisor and he said we won't have a problem in getting a mortgage on this kind of property.

it was mine and my boyfriends 3 years together yesterday, thought he was going to propose. Feel really disappointed that he didn't. Kind of been in the back of my mind that he'd pop the question, told myself i wasn't bothered either way and if it happens it happens, clearly it was a bigger deal to me than I first thought. Feel really deflated today :(

My sil and her husband are moving into a new house, my boyfriend and I want to buy them a gift for about £40, they are very well off and have everything they need already. What would be a thoughtful housewarming gift for them. If it helps they're early thirties and have a 7 month old baby boy.

My partner and I are supposed to be buying a house together in 6 months. I have been saving for longer than him (he's not very good with money) I've saved just over 20k whereas he has only saved 7k, (we earn the same), earlier this year, my brother got married in cuba, it would have cost us £1500 each to go, we decided that it was too much money and that 3k would be too large a chunk of our savings and would set us back. However, my partners best friend is marrying next year and has decided to have a stag do in Vegas! All in it's going to cost £1500 each, the same as cuba would have cost. My boyfriend has paid his deposit and is intending on going! I just can't believe it, after I sacrificed going to my own brothers wedding. Also my boyfriend has 7k of debt which he wants to add to the mortgage (basically negating his savings). So frustrated, feel like I am being taken for an idiot!

He makes me happy 90% of the time, but sometimes i feel like I am walking on egg shells around him. i know he'd never physically hurt me, but when he yells it is pretty scary. He over reacts about trivial things, like if I don't do something the way he'd do it, he gets frustrated and calls me dumb. Another example is he offered to pick me and a friend up from a party on the weekend, well he ended up getting stuck in traffic and so called and told me to call a cab instead, which I did. Ten minutes later I had a voicemail from him shouting "are you some sort of c**t!!??, pick up your f**king phone!!" My phone hadn't rung as i had gone to the toilets and lost reception.

Is there any help? Is this something I just need to accept as a flaw in his character? i have no doubt that he loves me, but I just don't think he knows how to talk to people sometimes. He apologised for the way he shouted down the phone and said he was only angry because he felt that he was letting me down. I am just getting a bit tired of it to be honest. anyone got any advice?? I just feel like I am falling out of love with him, it's hard to love someone who on occasion speaks to me with such malice.

My boyfriend gets really angry, loses his temper, punches things and shouts and swears. Will anger management help, he knows he has a problem.

We're doing this, we are not trying for a baby but if it happens it will be a happy surprise, I've bought condoms, but my partner doesn't like using them, he knows the risk he's taking. Secretly I would love it if i fell pregnant. It's his decision to do this, if he was that bothered about not having a baby he would be more careful surely!?
