I'm having a dessert party, and all of our pies are from costco and HUGE, should i make square slices??? I'm so confused!

I need to make strawberry shortcake tonight. I do not have time to to bake anything thing. It has to be something that I can BUY from kroger or whole foods. I already have the Ice cream, the strawberry topping, and the whip-cream. I do not have the cake part. What are some ideas other than the mini pre packaged sponge-cakes? Thanks!!!!!!

Aside from antioxidants & flavornoids which can be obtained via multiple food & drink sources other than wine, what is the benefit? I've heard stress reduction. But isn't that a very subjective concept, not to mention in reality, it would only be acting as a band-aid to one's stress level. Thanks!

I currently have Blockbuster mail rental service, but have been fed up with the service. I'm thinking about switching to netflix with a big draw being able to use the Roku to watch some of the free streaming options available.

I saw that you actually don't need a Roku($99) if you have an Xbox360, But I don't. I have a PS3. But i saw another option about using "PlayOn" Yet I have no clue how/why it works.

I understand that in the late 1800's earthly polygamy was banned by a new revelation. But Spiritual polygamy is still an existing doctrine as outlined in Doctrine & Covenants Section 132. Meaning that If a Man becomes a widow, he can be sealed to another lady, and if she dies as well, he can be sealed to another and so on. But does it work in reverse? If a women’s first husband dies, can she be sealed to another man? LDS ladies, if you passed, do you think your hubby would get sealed to another? Have you talked about it?

Ok, I'm going backpacking this weekend and it is freakin Hot (Georgia) not only is it hot its HUMID! anyways i usually make hot meals for dinner, but i do not plan on boiling any water on this trip. Any ideas for some a meal.

Don't forget i won't have a cooler as I am backpacking.

The sad part is that this happens way to often. What can we do to help prevent this stuff? I would like to be part of the solution and not just point fingers anymore.

Its date night for the wife and I, but I'm tired of going to the Movies and Watching DVDs. I would love to go go-cart racing or mini-golf, but its raining outside.

I hate sucralose and all other fake sweetners. They all have this weird aftertaste. But the crappy part is that they are putting sucralose in the majority of all juices, not just the ones labled Diet or Light. This bugs me because its takes my 15 minutes to find something to drink without sucralose or some other form of fake sweetner because i have to read the ingriedients before i can buy.

Its not like i need everything sweet. I just don't want that weird aftertaste. If you wan't to cut back on the sugar content then just cut it back. Don't try to replace it with something else!

I am usually 70/30 Yes/No. But my wife is more like 10/90 Yes/No So i now know when she says Maybe, it basically means NO

The dress code here at the office is Business Casual, i.e. Slacks & Nice shirt (Polo or button down). Only the VP's wear suits pending what meetings they have. Sometimes Directors will wear ties, again pending what meetings they may have that day (Maybe twice a month)

The role I applied for, although better pay and more responsibilities, is basically the same role as I have now. just different department within the same business function.

Should I wear a suit? If this was for a different company I would be in a suit no question. But this is the same company, same building, same floor, same co-workers.

March 1st i had a pretty bad strain with some bruising. I only took a week off because i had a tourney on the 8th, i could jog and run and be fine however anything over 85% i would feel it. So i really didn't compete in the tourney. I have taken time off since and will be taking another month off to be safe and to let other injuries recover as well. My question is when can i start to stretch and think about deep tissue massages to my hammy? The injury is really deep and i can only feel it when i do a super body stretch, the kind you take right after you awake from a nap or sleep. I'm afraid if i stretch i may re-injure it if its not fully repaired. But i don't want to go to many more weeks with out stretching.

Any advise?

Are you watching 2008 March Madness on TV? Why Aren't the games in HD? To make sure nothing was wrong with my TV i turn to ESPN and See crystal clear Baseball in HD. What gives? Its 2008

On Wednesday April 9th My wife and I will arrive @ 3pm via plane and we will be staying @ the Iberville Suites Hotel in the French Quarter. The next day will hop on a cruise and will only have a few hrs in the morning before we head to the port around noon.

I figure on Thursday we would just sleep in and eat breakfast at the hotel because its included and is supposed to be good. Then grab some beignets on the way to the port.

But What to do Wed from 4pm-Midnight????

I was thinking 4-6:45 some sort of Museum, 7-8:45 Dinner, 9-10:45 a ghost tour/site see/river walk, 11pm dessert? Since its Wed and not thursday i don't know if places are open past 10. Any suggestions on a full day of activities. Don't want to spend more than 50 bucks for two at dinner or have to dress up.

We never been so details would be helpful! The agenda is very felxible as i just came up with that 10 seconds ago.

My wife and I took the intro to iindoor climbing class the other day and we are hooked!

Just looking for any tips from the wise.

On our own we learn that its best to use more leg and less arm when possible. We also found it very helpful to just sit and watch people who know what they are doing.

When is a good time to invest in our own gear. Any good book or video recomendations?

btw, I doubt we will be hitting the outdoor rocks anytime soon if ever.
