How do you decide whether someone deserves a second chance?

This will be my first Valentine's Day, in awhile, that I haven't been in a relationship. So instead of wondering what to get my significant other, I get to see what you all are planning.

I'm not one of most amazing chefs in the world. I am, however, capable of following most, simple recipes.

I'm looking for a recipe that'll surprise my family for the holidays. I'm looking for something that'll taste great, look impressive, and is somewhat fool-proof. There aren't any dietary restrictions to consider.

I figure I should cook it once or twice before letting anyone else taste it.

When you start seeing someone new, it's impossible to not think about what went wrong/well in your last relationship. In some way, it will affect how you act in your next. You may compare the new person with your ex, be a little less trusting, or hesitant to even start a new relationship.

My girlfriend and I just ended our four-year relationship. It wasn't a bad break-up. We both thought it was time to move on.

I'm still living with her, looking for my own place. I can't figure out whether I should continue talking to her or not.

During lunch today, I was enjoying a hamburger and the newspaper, when a very drunk man walks up to me. He sat down at the table and started talking about the cars he used to own. He wasn't too bad of a guy, but the entire time all I could think was "Why is he talking to me!? Does this happen to a lot of people?"

I've never thought about how my agnostic girlfriend feels about me being Christian. I encourage her to come along to church with me now and then but make sure not to make her uncomfortable. Anyway..

I plan on having a few children in the future, hopefully with my current girlfriend (♥). I know you can never be completely prepared for parenthood, but I'd like to be able to deal with some situations.

Basically, my question is..

What are some issues that you think would come up with being a gay parent, and how would you handle them?

There are a some types of questions that appear often and can quickly become annoying.
