How well can the Badgers do in the tourney this year?
It would be nice to see them make some noise for a change. But once again I think they will have a hard time getting past the first weekend.
Sure hope I'm wrong.
Would love to see a Wisconsin - Marquette final.
More likely a Kentucky - North Caroline final. God I hope not, though
5 AnswersBasketball9 years agoWhich #1 seed is most likely to lose this weekend?
As everyone knows, no #1 seed has lost since the NCAAs moved to a 64 team format. But that doesn't stop me every year from hoping it finally happens.
Who is it most likely to happen to this year? I hate to pick on the team that's down, but I think it has to go to Syracuse this year, with Missouri the next most likely, then Michigan stated, and Kentucky being the best of the locks to win.
Your thoughts?
4 AnswersBasketball9 years agoWere there any fine levied after the Lions-Bears game?
There was some pretty off the wall stuff there - the driving of the quarterback into the ground, Stafford trying to tear someone's head off. But so far I haven't heard if there were any fines or anything.
3 AnswersFootball (American)10 years agoWhy should I buy a Muzee internet ratio and TV dongle?
Yesterday I saw a Muzee internet radio and TV dongle available for sale.
What is the value of having this device? My first thought was that is was nice that I could record stuff, but most networks have shows archives anyway.
2 AnswersOther - Internet10 years agoWhen you go to a baseball game, do you go in in time for the first pitch? Or do you go in late? Either way, y?
I'm watching a game now, it is in the bottom of the second. And they just showed that people are still coming into the stands.
FWIW, I always go in so I can see the first pitch. Unlike basketball, early parts of a baseball game can be pretty pivotal.
5 AnswersBaseball1 decade agoSaw a word punter question - who is worst kicker though?
The Packer's Crosby has to be up there. I can't believe that after missing in 6 straight games, from under 45 in 4 straight games, McCarthy still shows confidence in him. Must not be as smart as the coaches in Dallas and New Orleans who got rid of their useless kickers.
14 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoRecommend a cell phone for the visually impaired?
My son is visually impaired - nearly blind - but would like a cell phone that is easy to use. He likes to use text messaging. So the phone should have the following:
- Easy to use keyboard for typing text messages
- Screen reader
- - Reads menus
- - Reads text messages
Does anyone know of any phones that do this? I know that the iPhone can be set up for this. And, for an extra $99 you can get TALKS from Verizon for the HTC Ozone. Any other choices out there?

10 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoCan we start a petition asking the NFL to require they sing the National Anthem correctly or stop playing it?
OK, the Super Bowl is about to start. They just played the National Anthem. When I am at a game, I want to be able to show my national pride and sing along. How can you sing along if they don't play and sing it properly? It drives me nuts!
Anyone think we can start a petition asking the NFL - and other sports as well - to require traditional singing of the National Anthem, or out of respect to the nation and the song not sing it at all?
6 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWhat is Yost thinking?
What is up with Brewer's coach Yost?
First he lets Suppan (why is he still in the rotation anyways?) give up 7 runs in one inning after they had a 4-1 lead going into the inning.
Then today he lets CC give up a lead as well, letting him load the bases with 1 out, and still leave him in to give up 2 runs.
Doesn't he realize when a pitcher is in trouble, he needs to get him out of there?
Now he had Gagne pitching well, so he replaces him with Torres. What, Gagne can't pitch more than an inning? (Maybe he can't, but that doesn't seem likely.) The back to back walks aren't making me feel any better about that.
What is he thinking? Is he thinking? How many more games is he going to lose through bad decisions?
Well, guess I will watch the rest of it to see how it goes.
4 AnswersBaseball1 decade agoI have a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan with GPS Navigation system. Recently it crashes on long trips. Suggestions?
My GPS system has been great. It is actually an Alpine GPS system. I used to use it all the time, specially on long trips. But recently it has started to fail on long trips. After a short time into the trip, it gives me the following error message:
Reading Error
Please eject and check disc.
This only happens when I request navigation assistance for longer trips. On shorter trips it is fine.
Has anyone else had this happen? Is there a "simple fix"? I have been told that if there is not, it will cost $1200 to replace the unit.
