I started a new job in Jan 2021. Initially excited since i worked with my old company for 13 years. Now i regret it. I am not interested in the work.  The ppl are nice and company is fine, but i just do not see myself carrying on any longer. I cant quit since there is no job openings right now.  I kind of want to be honest with my boss that I am not interested in the work we do. ill do it and take the training. but at most in a year i am leaving.  not sure what to do. i was wrong about the new gig and thats on me. 

so this girl i have been seeing for a short time. all of the sudden just felt a stronger connection with someone else. She still wants to be friends. And i said thats fine.. i thought we had something great and i had fun. I wished her the best. Should I even still try to be friends with her or not?

So ive been seeing this girl for a few weeks. 5 dates.. kisses, hand holding, snuggling.. no sex. We are fine when we are together. She shared her personal stories and her background and everyhing. So last 2 weeks she was busy when i asked her out. And shes been kinda cold with the text. So i decided yesterday i think shes losing interest. So i asked her out. But she said shes busy with no alternative day. So i countered ok well feel better(she was sick) and let me know when you are free. Not sure if that was too harsh. I still like her but i get the feeling her interest is waning.

This girl I liked kissed me after a night of drinking. i was not drunk at all.. and she kept ont elling me she was not drunk. all night we were close and i wanted to kiss her but i did not because of people at the bar. so at the end of the night, as we were leaving, we both kissed. it was pretty passionate. i mean it meant something to me, but i am not sure about her. she has not called or wanted to talk about it since i contacted her, i feel like she forgot. what should i do?

signed a lease early in the year. we pay all utilities. we were under the impression that we controlled the heat but apparently we dont, should the heat bill be our responsibility or landlords?

My rent is due on the 1st of the month. According to our lease, we have to pay the rent at the first of the mont but the thing is it is not specified to where the rent should be sent to or who we should give it to. We still have the check in the apartment but no one has come to pick up the rent. We called the landlord several times and left messages but he has not responded. What should we do?

My friend got a new job(thank god) but apparently our last boss said some less than positive things about him(most were true) but isnt that illegal ? the former employer can only say that my friend used to work there and nothing in regards to how he was as an employee right?

happy as in the feeling of the dream. I was just so happy to be with someone.

i was at friends wedding, and he had a cousin that caught my eye, but i could not introduce myself because well i was drunk and did not want to look like a complete moron.

now this girl is on my friends facebook, should i message her even though its awkward?

i live in new york... queens.. where can i buy this plant?

i didnt leave the company on great terms. but dont want to bash, nor should i, bash the company.

i wanted to say, i left the company in pursuit of full time oppurtunities utilizing my skills and experiences.

fyi: my last job before this one was a full time one but i left for the job i recently quit on to gain experience and skills. my first job i was in the mailroom and there were a lack of oppurtunities because i was told i lacked experiences.. so i left(on great terms) for the this job i quit on recently.

I already upgraded the firmware and it still goes back into the menu. is it because i tried using an antenna to get tv? because i cut off my cable tv a while ago and tried to get OTA tv.. i bought an HDTV antenna.. and then the problems began after that. i unplugged the antenna cables but still the tv still goes into the menu and goes into a frenzy

i really dont care if its my civic duty. i just want to get out of it.

i am 26. shes 22, and its a work related situation. we dont see each other often. i did try to go to lunch once but that never came to be. i dont think she would be interested but i do not know. plus the fact that its in work causes a bit of conflict, though we dont see each other too often. also we have each others IM but for some reason i was blocked.. i only restarted to talk to her only because its just not a good idea to hold anygrudge just for being blocked on IM, i only know because i have 2 IM accounts one for work and one for personal.
