I have a 1998 Chevy Cavalier, just got it about a month ago. In Drive (D), the car feels like it's stuck in first gear. It won't go faster than about 35-40, and even then it feels like it's straining. If I drive it in D2 it'll accelerate to 70 (the fastest I've ever tried), so I drive it in D2 all the time. I don't know much of anything about cars, but I'm afraid keeping it in D2 might be bad for the transmission or something. What's wrong and how do I fix it?

My roommate works at McDonalds, and the news that it is being closed for a few months for remodeling was dropped on him today (it is closing Sunday 8/29). He assumed he would be able to draw unemployment while he searches for another job. His manager offered him a transfer to a store in another town about 40 miles away. He has no feasible way to make an 80-mile round trip five days a week on a minimum-wage salary, as he is struggling to pay his half of the bills as it is, and his manager knows this. She told him that if he doesn't accept the job, he'll have to be listed as "quitting" and probably be disqualified for unemployment. Is this legal?

I accidentally downloaded WinBlueSoft when trying to download another program. It's a rogue anti-spyware program that is a total fake. It restricts access to certain programs as well. Everything I've looked up on how to remove it requires downloading a specific removal program, and I have them all. When I try to open them, however, they don't open because the WBS won't let them. I tried doing it manually as well, and managed to find the files I would be looking for online. I can't delete them, however, because they are in use...by the spyware!

So automatic AND manual removal don't work. What do I do?!

She is normally playful and hyper, like most kittens, but she isn't like that anymore. For the past couple of days she hasn't wanted to do anything. She won't drink her water (or milk), and the only way to get her to eat is to hand feed her. All she does is sleep. She won't even purr or meow no matter what we do, and she seems to have trouble breathing. She has flies circling around her, and I'm afraid she's going to die. Please help.

I have looked around for places to get the entire script (film version) of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. I never found it. Instead, I watched the movie with the subtitles on and spent HOURS making my OWN script. If I posted it on my website and let people download it, would it be illegal?
