So I am having a little insurance problem and it is starting to make me mad and I want to know if anyone knows what I'm getting into.

Back in December my husband was hit by another person in my vehicle. After two hospital visits (the first hospital decided that after a car accident where my husband's face hit the steering wheel that he didn't need an xray or scan because even if his nose was broken they were just going to send him home with the same pills....really!? Well I guess since it was Christmas Eve the doctor really didn't want to be there so who was I to judge) and two weeks later my lawyer had to file the claim because my insurance company (one of the big ones) wouldn't do it until I paid them (fine, I get it) and the guy who hit us tried to pretend it didn't happen (he lied).

After a long process I get my new car which had a big screw up (that's what I get for buying used) and I had my first minor accident in my whole life. After fighting with my insurance company forever and them lying about sending out estimators (three times!) we finally got them to start the process. By this point, and after several other lies and screw ups, we decided to switch.

We called to cancel our automatic withdrawl before the due date and told them we wanted to switch. Our new insurance agency said they were sending over the paperwork to the bank to switch our homeowners, etc. Well that was back on the 10th.....I check my spam email today and notice that six days ago I got a weird email from a woman I've never heard of saying "Past Due Bill".

So I open this and it looks like a fraud email because nowhere in the sender's name, email heading, next to "Insurance Agent", or ANYWHERE on the email did it say the company's name. I only noticed because it was in her email address. They are now telling me I am past due! THEY NEVER CANCELED ME!

I tried to call the 24 hour reps to get them to cancel it and help me out but they refuse to and say it has to be with the agent and will not answer my questions as to whether or not they are going to try to bill me for this. My question is, will they? Do they have any right to? I clearly canceled my payment, got another insurance agency, who sent paperwork to take away my homeowners from them, and their only contact was with an email that didn't even have the company name (it was by a secretary so it didn't even have my agent's name who is the only one I know). I feel like it wouldn't be fair but what do they care, this is their last chance to get my money.

I really like them but hate having to drive out there. Seems like it wouldn't cost too much to make it at home. I would just really like to know how to make them at home.

My hibiscus plant dropped almost all of its leaves and I finally realised that it was due to spider mites. I gave it a strong dosage of Spectracide 3 in 1 twice this week and it seems to have taken care of it and all of the leaves have turned back to a healthy dark green. Now every leaf is started to have wilted brown tips. Is this due to too much pesticide? or is it getting too much sun? water? Help!!! I really want to save this plant, it was from my husband's grandfather's funeral.

My husband and I brought home a hibiscus plant from his grandfather's funeral because we wanted something that we could take care of and keep alive to always remember him by. It was in an indoor pot and it is about three feet tall. At first it bloomed almost every day but after about a month it has stopped blooming. I can see where it is growing new branches but it seems as if the plant is dying. Every day I look at it more of the leaves are turning yellow and falling off. I tried putting it outside but it is just so hot that it wilts the leaves so I brought it inside again. What should I do to try to keep this plant alive and blooming? Any advice on watering, sunlight, or any other indoor plant help would be appreciated. (on a side note, it is an indoor plant because we live at an apartment complex and I don't want to plant it and have it take root because we want to move it with us when we get a home so we can't actually plant it, it must stay a house plant)

I was in real need of some money in order to pay for some gas in my car for work and to pay my gas bill but I was a little short so I decided to sell some old school books thinking I could get the money. I ended up selling all of my books by the evening and made enough money. I used my last $20 to pay for the shipping in the hopes that once I shipped it that amazon would credit me the money from the sales but they didn't and now I am completely broke. I was looking for an answer and it said that they wont credit me for 14 days!!!!! Is this true? because if so I am in deep trouble. Will it really take them that long to give me my money or will they pay me sooner, like when the buyer recieves the packages?

I stupidly parked my car under a tree full of birds and I ended up with three huge baseball sized craps on my car. Seeing as I was too poor to go to a car wash and my apartment complex wont let you wash cars on the property I left it alone until I went to my grandparents house. I wasn't thinking and after about a week and a half I think it has done damage. My grandpa was washing the car and in one spot on the hood there is still a mark. My grandpa tried washing, buffing, and waxing it but no luck. I am not sure if it is gunk left on the car or it the bird crap ate away at the clear coat on my car. My questions are:

-Is it more likely that it is leftover gunk on my car or that it ate away at my clear paint?

-How can I check?

-What can be done to fix it?

-Where can I go to get it fixed/get the stuff to fix it?

-About how much will it run me?

Okay so I planted some vegetables in pots. I knew what they were based on their postition on my porch but they had to be moved and now I can't remember what they are. The three I can't figure out are tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. They are still small and have sprouted about one inch so it is hard to figure out which is which. The problem is that one of them my dog knocked over so I need to replant them but I don't know what they were. Can anyone tell me what the baby plants should look like or, even more helpful, can anyone give me a place online where I can see pictures of small sprouts of these vegetables to figure out what I'm growing.

I recently planted a whole lot of plants and some of them are looking a little down and from the looks of the dirt I feel like I'm not watering them enough. My question is, how much water should these plants be getting (moderate, a little, a lot etc) and about how often does that mean I should water them.

I am writing an analysis paper on Matthew Gregory Lewis' novel "The Monk". If you haven't read it that's no problem you can still help. I need a catchy title for my paper. It is going to be about the way women are portrayed through a Madonna Whore Complex in the novel. Basically women are portrayed as either sweet and innocent or over sexualized sinners that must be punished. The novel is basically a Gothic Soap Opera. So any ideas for a good title that has something to do with the oversexualized portrayal of women? I know it's kind of a hard question if you haven't read it but I appreciate any good efforts.

Okay so my fiance was being an idiot and was spray painting blocks for our garden on the front patio of our apartment. He put down a blanket but wasn't paying attention and got the spraypaint past the edges. Now there is a HUGE square of spray paint on our patio and I don't know what to do. What can I do to get it off, the patio is just plain concrete? I'm so ticked off and so worried right now about what will happen when the manger finds out.

My puppy is a five month old female puggle and up to date on all of her shots. She does not play around any other dogs so catching something from another dog is out of the question. She threw up two nights ago (tried to eat it) and then threw up yesturday evening. Last night we awoke to hear her slurping something and found that she had thrown up on the bed and ate all of it. We have no changed her diet at all. Since we have had her she has only been sick once and that was with a urinary tract infection. What could possibly be wrong with her and what can I do to make her feel better or possibly help the vomitting go away? (you do not need to tell me to take her to the vet, the office is closed today and I plan on calling tomorrow to get her in if this continues)---Also, as a side note, she has been drinking a lot more, I suspect she is dehydrated from throwing up.

So my wedding is exactly two weeks from today and I am very excited. The weekend before my wedding I am going up to my Maid of Honor's college dorm to stay for a few nights and hang out. We are already planning on going to Axis (Gay Club!!) and hanging out with our best gay man! My question is, what else should we go out and do that weekend? It's my last weekend before I am married and I am hanging out with all of my friends and bridesmaids so I wanna have fun with all my single ladies (and my lovely queen lol). Anybody have any suggestions on what would be fun to go do? Anyone else do anything fun their last weekend before their wedding?

Our apartment complex told us that they were going to be replacing all of the fences in spring (ours was broken when we moved in, one of the posts is broken beneath the ground and it leans, we have tried fixing it but it needs a new post). We have been fixing up the outside, getting ready to plant for spring and the manager informed us that she was told by the higher ups that our apartment complexes might not get new fences unless there are more move ins because there is not enough money flowing in. Now we're stuck with a broken fence with rotting wood. The manager told us if we wanted to fix it ourselves we could and that she would try to get the complex to cut us a deal on our rent for fixing the place up ourselves.

My question is, where do I go to get dog ear fence pieces (either piece by piece or a full set already put together) that is only 4' high? If that is not possible, is there some way to get it cut, either by the store or someone I can take it to? Any extra advice?

I just recently moved into a new apartment and we are allowed to plant out here and I am really excited because I love flowers and fresh veggies. My problem is that I am so exicted I can't wait any longer to plant, I have already bought all the stuff. My question is, when should I start planting my flowers, vegetables (onions, peas, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes), and strawberries? Any adivce on what I should do to ensure full bloom of my flowers and good veggies? Any extra advice at all? (Remember that this is for planting done in Ohio)

*please do not answer with "plant after the final frost" because I have no idea when that is and it is not a very good response

So I wake up in the morning and think hmmm???.... back of my car looks like there is something on it...must be dirty...so I go to class.

I come home, look at it closely and its SCUFF MARKS! Someone hit my car and dragged for about three feet, also find that there is a giant scratch on my back window! I look over and my neighbor's car which a hunk of junk piece of crap rustbucket from the seventies is parked crookedly over the line from the day before (and she wasn't there when I parked the night before so she must have pulled in after my car was parked) it looked like she pulled in to park on the left and went so fast she curved and went over the left line. I look and her giant metal mirror (oh yes, it's all metal, what is up with that?) is perfect level with the scratch on my window. That night I file a police report but no can do cus no witnesses and because it was dark we didn't look hard for a paint transfer. This morning my fiance and I scan out the car and lo and behold...a little bit of green paint on the bumper where she would have hit my car and a tiny scratch where paint came off of my car. Not enough paint to file charges probably but enough to know! (There are only five cars that park over in this area, otherwise it is empty...those cars are Mine, My Fiance's, My neighbor who is awesome!, and the giant piece of crap metal junk, and the other piece of junk that belongs to her baby's daddy). So I go to management...because there are no specific parking spots they cannot tell her to move her piece of crap somewhere else so she doesnt hit me.....(here's the funny thing, earlier this month the battery to our truck died so we we borrowed a friend's car until we could go out to get a battery--we both dont get home until ten at night and most places are closed and its too dark to change a battery---and she COMPLAINS! to management that we now have three cars -mine---his broken truck---borrowed car---and that she can't park up front in the good spaces....well now that we spent our time changing a battery in the dark to move our car she can park in the good spaces and by doing so she hits my car!!!...maybe she was better off parking at the end where she has plenty of room to drive like an idiot)

So we go over there to confront her....no one will answer the door and the moment we go back inside she leaves!! So we still haven't confronted her yet...waiting for fiance to get home (he's a cop and we think thats why she didn't tell us, plus shes just a jerk anyways). I am uber ticked off........(side story---i post a bunch of nasty angry things on my facebook status just as a way to vent, no cuss words, just nothing nice, and my fiance's aunt leaves me a nasty post saying that I shouldnt post that kind of stuff on her page and that she doesnt like to see it because she signed a code of conduct with her business and she uses her facebook as part of her work too and she doesnt want my post to affect her job...WTF!?!?! I didn't post it on her page, I posted it on mine and I have every right...dont use facebook for work!!!! and if someone scratched/scuffed my car and scratched my window and didn't tell me I have the right to be a little angry and the last thing I need is for someone to yell at me for being upset)

I am getting married in three weeks and even though my family and my fiance's family are very excited and very supportive I think they are still a little worried. My family (especially my mother) absolutely loves him and have expressed that they have never once thought anything bad about him or us. The same goes the other way for his family about me. However, I can tell that both of our mothers are a little worried and my mom has fully expressed to me that she is not ready for me to be married. I don't understand fully why though. I am 18 and he is 21 (we are getting married just a month before my 19th and soon his 22nd birthday). He already has a degree in law enforcement and is a police officer. I am currently a junior in college and still earning my degree. We have been dating for about a 1 1/2 yrs. and before that we worked together every day for almost two years and got along perfectly and we were best friends. Even farther back then that we went to the same school together and had a class together my freshman year. I don't think anyone on either side of the family is worried that we are making the wrong decision, but I think that they might think that its too early. That or they are just worried because they are mothers and their children (I am the first born daughter) are going away. I dunno...anyone have any idea whats goin on or have a similar experience?
