  • remembering the bases that tore down pmq's?

I was born and raised on airforce bases from birth to the age of 13. I have seen bases I've lived on where the pmq's have been torn down which saddens me.

    My questions are:

What places did you live where your old living quarters are now an empty field?

What place was the most significant to you?

I'm thinking of the last place I lived. If you have lived in the same places I have I will choose your answer. I know it's a long shot but just wondering how many xbrat's there were living where I lived

  • What are your thoughts on this movie?

I saw Fire in the Sky (1993) years ago and I thought it was a little terrifying. It takes a long time for any action to happen but the build-up is very cool.

Any thoughts on whether or not you think this maybe a hoax?

  • Nightmare on Elm Street the remake?

I love Scary movies and have seen all of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. Last night I watched the remake of the original.

I don't know if I'm the only one who thought that it wasn't as scary as the original. I thought Robert England did a great job playing Freddy.

Jackie Earle Haley plays Freddy Kruger but I think he should stick to playing the bad guy in "Bad News Bears"

What did you think of the remake?

  • favorite Pink Floyd song...or songs as you can't just pick 1?

Just wondering what song (or songs) you like by Pink Floyd and why?

Other than the fact that it's Pink Floyd.

I love "Pigs". Having seen Pink Floyd in the earlier years was an experience I will never forget. The instumental piece in the song lasts almost 4 minutes and is my favorite part of the song.

  • Base Commander Russell Williamsgets 25 years with no parole?

I live 35 minutes away from Trenton Air Force Base in Trenton ON Canada and would visit quite frequently as I was born and raised on air force bases. When I heard how Base Commander Russell Williams was charged with the 2 murders of local women and numerous sexual assaults, B&E's etc, it made me sick. First for those poor sweet young women and their loved ones. I cry everytime I hear the news or read the paper about the case. He finally admitted to it and plead guilty to all 80 something charges and received 25 years WITHOUT chance of parole!!

Although it wouldn't bring back the women or remove the memories of past assaults...I guess my question is:

    1) do you think the sentence was enough?

    2) how many people have heard of this trial and where do you live?

May you burn in Hell Russell Williams

  • how many cats do you have or had, what are their names and how did they get that name?

I have 3 cats and I like different names.

"Tag-a-long" ("Tag" for short) was an awesome cat RIP past away at 6 years of age due to cancer. She used to follow my dog around everywhere

"Urit" because she would run up behind you and hit the back of your leg then run away...tag your it lol

Bella...not an unusual name but was changes as my husband didn't like her original name "Hot Wheels" when she was a kitten she would back up then run so fast just like the hot wheels cars lol.

  • Who has heard of Living Colour and who likes them?

When I first heard of "Living Colour" I loved the music. I believe they started in 1984 but I could be mistaken. I finally saw the videos of them performing and I must admit I was surprised to see that they are an all black band. I ended up buying their albums after I heard them. (you notice I say albums so you can probably guess my age group) So many years have past I was 19 in 1884

A couple of song suggestions from them: Cult of Personality, Open Letter to a Landlord. Check them out on youtube. The singer has an awesome voice and they're cute too lol
