  • I need tips on foods to eat when trying to lose weight?

I need normal foods to eat for breakfast lunch and dinner. I am a mother of two, with a limited amount of money to spend on groceries, so I don't want to hear about organic this, and all the weird stuff. I want to know what are simple everyday foods that are good to eat when trying to lose weight. Like for example, a banana and a small bowl of oatmeal for breakfast ect ect.. I'm 22 years old, 5"2-5"3 and 180 pounds. I would like to get back down to my post pregnancy weight of 140-150. Thanks in advance.

  • When will he propose? Advice from men would be appreciated, all is welcome though.?

Okay, so I'm 22 years old and my boyfriend is 25. We have two children together and live on our own. I know we've kind of done things backwards, but I'm just wondering when and if he will propose. Obviously, no one will know the correct answer.. But I'd just like some input. He is 25 like I said, and is still very much into computers & gaming, he does however work a full 40 hours a week. So, we've been together for 4 years this July, and I'm just wondering.. Is he ever going to propose? I've asked a couple times if marriage is something he wants, and he assures me that he will one day propose. But I'm just scared that it's not something he's interested in. He had a friend, who is a very sh*tty person but he told me that my boyfriend has always said he never wanted to marry. But my boyfriend tells me the opposite. The friend has never liked me, or any of my boyfriends exes so I don't know if he just said that to tamper with my feelings, or if that's something that was honestly said. Now, I know we're still young and there is no rush, and that's not what I'm worried about. Marriage is just important to me, and I want to have a wedding one day with him. Like I said, I know we've done things backwards, but it's still important to me. My grandma, and my aunt both said that they don't feel like he ever will propose. As my grandma said, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free". Four years to me, seems like a decent amount of time to at least consider proposing sometime in the future, so could it be the video games and slight immaturity that is holding him back? Or is he content with a home & children with no marriage. Thank you in advance.

  • Is this amount of benadryl okay for my dog?

I have looked through here and online at what dosage to give my female 60-65 pound black lab. I have the normal 25mg pills of benadryl and only gave her 25mg at first. But then seen that I should be giving her 1mg per 1 pound of weight, so I gave her a second one which would be 50mg. I don't want to give her anymore because it wouldn't be consistent with her weight, but I guess I just want some feed back on people who have used benadryl for their dogs ect. Is this amount okay? Did it work for your dog? My dog I believe just got fleas, so we got her advantage and applied it friday night, and it's now sunday and she is still itching. She has two huge bald strips at the bottom of her back by her tail, so I figured I'd give her some benadryl to help with the itching til all of the fleas were dead. Thanks in advance.

  • Does this happen to anyone else?

Okay so for as long as I can remember I will/would have horrible coughing spells in my sleep.. My head would start pounding, I'd start sweating, and sometimes I even get put because I become so nauseous. Now, my new thing is yawning. I will seriously yawn like 20-30 times in my sleep over and over until my lungs hurt. I've had a cat scan done on my head for the coughing and stuff to see if anything was causing it to no prevail. But for awhile now, I can't even yawn without my lungs hurting really bad. Btw, I do smoke. Probably about a pack to a pack and a half a day. I'm 21 years old and have been full blown smoking since I was about.. 15? So.. only 6 years of smoking. Does this or has this happened to anyone else? Do you think it's from smoking, or from some other issue. I'm going to make a doctors appointment to have more tests done to see. Thanks!

  • Diamond brand dog food, how good is it?

I just got my 6 year old lab diamond grain free dog food today, and was wondering if I should expect any real change. She has bad flaky skin, which is why I decided to switch from crap pedigree, to something better. Will her skin and coat clear up? She chews the bottom of her back til the hair falls out and she has little bald spots. I'm really happy that I changed her food, I've been hearing really bad stuff about all the pedigree, beneful.. Things like that. Does anyone else use this kind? Thanks in advance.

  • Can I give my dog a raw steak?

She's a black lab, if that matters. But I was letting the steaks sit on the counter to thaw and of course the cat got up there and started to chew on one, So I'm not going to cook it, but was wondering if I can just give it to her as a treat?

  • When do male cats start to spray?

I just recently got a kitten, who I was told is five months old. I do plan on getting him neutered, but when do male cats start spraying? Is it a definite thing? What I mean by that is do all male cats spray, or is it just when they feel territorial. Thank you.

  • How do I go about getting custody of my 11 year old cousin?

My cousin is 11 years old, and about 5 years ago her mom (My aunt) died. She lives at her grandparents 2 bedroom home with her dad, her grandma, her grandpa, her brother, her brothers girlfriend, their three kids, and her cousin. Her dad is addicted to narcotics, and I believe meth. Her grandma is selling percocets. Her grandpa is a alcoholic. Her brother is addicted to meth and narcotics along with his girlfriend. And her cousin is addicted to heroin. Her dad gets 600 dollars a month for spousal support and she gets 600 dollars for herself. All of which goes towards her dads drug addiction. I am her deceased mothers biological niece and when school ends in June, I am going to try and get custody of her. I have two children of my own, stable income, by that time I'm hoping we will be granted a loan to buy a house, but have room for her right where we are if need be. I know for a fact, that if it came down to court I would not have a problem getting custody of her given the living conditions she has now. The house itself is a mess and at one point when my step dad went over there, (his parents house, he is my cousins dads brother) he found powdered cleaner used to make meth, so we assume they were making it in the basement. She has also been writing to boys and cursing and talking about sexual things her friend said or something and she is just headed down the wrong path and I feel that I have to save her. Her mother took very very good care of her, and now her life has gone to sh*t. She gets no type of counseling to deal with her mothers death, nothing. Anyways, my goal is to try and talk some sense into her father and try and get him to see that she would be much better off living with me. If he was any type of father, I feel that he would jump at the chance of giving his daughter a life that he cannot provide for her. But when he realizes that he will not get that 600 dollars a month for his drug addiction, I think that's where the problems will start. So, if he does fight me how do I go about getting custody of her? Do I contact children services? I read that unless the parents agree to the custody agreement, that you have to prove abuse or neglect, which is obviously there. So is that the route I want to take? Or should I contact a Lawyer? I live in Ohio by the way. Thank you to anyone who responds.

Posted this is another section as well, but don't seem to be having many answers, just spam.

  • Why do people keep saying that teacup dogs are not real?

Everyone on here is saying that Teacup dogs are just poorly bred, runts of the little that BYBers sell for high dollar. My grandma, purchased a Teacup Yorkie from a reputable breeder when I was little, that was AKC registered and won dog shows that we put her in. The dog never reached more than 3-5 pounds full grown, and she was healthy. So if Teacups are in fact not real, then what type of yorkie did we have? I know there are smaller yorkies, and yorkies that get about 15 pounds. I figured the smaller yorkies were actually teacup.

  • My dog does not get along with other dogs?

I have a spayed 6 year old black lab named Baby. Here are a couple things about her.

She is a great, loyal family dog. Loves my kids, loves me to death, she licks me and my kids constantly out of affection I believe. She is a great guard dog, and is just very easy going. When I lived with my parents, we had two other dogs, which were puppies from her only litter, and she did great with them. Sometimes she did have dominance fights with the female but overall they were great. I had to rehome the two other dogs due to me moving out on my own and my parents losing their house. Me and my boyfriend took baby to see the female I rehomed at her new house, and I thought it was going to be a great little reunion, but when they seen eachother, teeth were out and they were ready to go. Boots was very happy to see us though.. So I thought maybe this was still a dominance thing with them and forgot about it. We later decided to adopt a greatdane/lab mix female puppy and that went horrible. Baby bit her once, and tried to bite her again through a muzzle and it wasn't like a correction or space bite, she was trying to do damage. I thought maybe it was because she was female. But we rehomed her for her safety. So my mom got a male puppy and I asked her to bring him over just to see if Baby acted that way towards him and she did. She didn't bite him but she would have had I allowed her the opportunity. She loves kittens and cats, she treats them like her babies. And before we moved she never had a problem with the two dogs, or strangers for that matter. We had birthday parties and everything with a bunch of people over and she always ran around happy as can be. Now, we have to lock her up anytime a visitor comes because she tries to bite theirs heads off. Sorry this is so long, I just wanted to give some back ground to my question. But I would like to know why she is dog aggressive, and more so why to a dog she lived with for 3 years of her life. Also, what made her be so aggressive towards strangers? Is there anything I can do to possibly adopt another dog in the future? I really want another dog at some point in my life, and I want it to be when Baby is here with us. Thanks in advance, and again sorry it's so long.

I also want to stress that she is not aggressive towards me or my kids/boyfriend AT ALL. She is a wonderful family dog.

  • Why does everyone talk crap about what kind of food you feed your dog?

I have a spayed 6 year old female black lab. I feed her Beneful Healthy Radiance. Obviously to a lot of people that isn't good enough, but what if I just don't have the money to spend 25 dollars on a 5 pound bag of dog food for a 75 pound lab? That's how much all that organic stuff is where I live. While Beneful is 15-16 bucks for a 15 pound bag. I myself do not get brand name organic food for myself, so why should I have to do the same for my dog because people say so?
