Blossoming

So I've been in band for about four years now and I find all my best friends there (because we spend so much time together). But I feel like I'm losing my other good friend who isn't in band. We used to talk about anything and everything before she quit band but now there isn't much to talk abut bc she's in dance and idk anything abt band. I know someone who can't talk about anything but band, and I try not to be like that but I feel like I'm losing her.

I really am not trying to be racist, but I don't understand. It's putting all races and minorities together, treating them equal, shouldn't that be a good thing? If it's extremely racist, I am very sorry.

Ok, so the low down is that I was 11 when my mom died and 12 when my dad remarried my stepmom. Right now I’m 15 and I’ve called her by her first name since I was 11. I don’t really view her as a mother figure because she values her own daughter over me and my siblings (which is understandable) and she really just ignores me half the time. She wants me to call her mom but I don’t think I will ever be ready to. She also thinks that me not calling her mom inhibits my sister from calling her mom so that just adds a whole other level to this choice. I feel like I should call her mom but I really don’t want to, I just want to graduate and get out of this house so I can live my life. 

So I’m a 15 year old sophomore and I’m scared for this year because I don’t want to be alone. I mean, I have friends and they’re AMAZING... but it’s not like I can grab my best friend and kiss her if I wanted to. The last (And first) relationship I had was back in 7th grade where we made it 6 months without talking to each other... yeah. So, what the heck do I do?
