I bought a Snicers Ice Cream bar and one for my kids and as I was finishin mine off i read the wrapper and it says "THIS UNIT NOT LABELLED FOR INDIVIDUAL RETIAL SALE"! Can we get in trouble or posibly even siclk for eatin these candy bars? We did buy two of em so does that count as indivdual sale? Should we report the ice cream man to Snickers or even the police? Who handles stuff like this the FDA maybe?? Thank you

I bought some Alteril, herbal sleep formula, and I noticed it has a "scientific" latinized name for itself (somnia latoril). The scam pill Enzyte also now boasts such a name (Suffragium asotas) which turns out to be meaningless in Latin.

I think it's cute in a precocious way, like the little herbalists and snake oil sellers all now get to make-believe they are big medicine companies with big, important medicines with meaningful, obviously-science-inspired formula names like "ezetimibe" (/sarcasm). I'm sure the typical, well-informed, american medicine consumer will now be 100x more likely to snap up these concoctions from the shelf at one of their local wal*marts now that they have cutesy, elegant drug names, just like real medicine!

Did the FDA just recently create/erase some kind of regulation concerning this? Anyone know where I could read more about it? Thanks.

Anyone know a good replacement that has alot of similar features as the old Yahoo News forums?

The best features being:

- Lenient or nonexisting censoring and moderation. No freedom of expression means no freedom to learn.

- Suggested interesting topics (like a news headline) to keep most posters focused on same issue.

- Dozens to hundreds of active posters, so it's fast and exciting.

- A recommendation system to help identify the most worthwhile posts

- Ability to change screennames on the fly to protect privacy (like how yahoo allowed up to 6 names per account).

I got infected by STD's after my girlfriend cheated on me. I got suspicious when she started hanging out all night at hip-hop and rap clubs but I knew for certain when I saw an opened letter in her stuff from the health center that said she was positive for chlamydia, HIV-1 and HIV-2. The thing is we have had sex several times since the date on that test, so she's basically trying to kill me!!

Can I sue for damages? Would I be able to bring her up for criminal charges? And is there a way to prove that she gave it to me (and not the reverse) without recent STD test of my own?

What fast-food do you think keeps best as leftovers? Fries never keep you just gotta throw them away. But what about cheeseburgers? Burger king burgers taste really weird if they are more than a few hours old. Wendy's on the other hand tastes about the same even after microwaving. I don't know about other places yet. What do you think is best?

I tried eating kentucky fried chicken for the first time ever, I got extra crispy recipe. About a whole day after eating it my entire insides had this sharp pain, much worse than anything I've ever felt. I pretty much wanted to cry. I went to the ER and they said I had bones lodged in my intestinal tract, and they had to do emergency surgery to save my life. First of all why woud'nt KFC remove the damn bones if you aren't supposed to eat them? And why don't they put any kind of warning on their menu or packaging that the food contains dangerous bones?!!!

I really can't believe I'm the first customer that this has happened to, but I hope to be the last! I think I'm going to sue to cover my pain and medical expenses, should I also try to get them to put warning labels about the bones?

I'm not sick or anything but the thouight of dying scares the hell out of me. I believe there's some sort of afterlife but what if there isn't????? And you just disappear or something and can't even think or feel anymore you just cease to exist, like when a bug dies on your windshield???

I don't really want to take the chance so if I was to seriously consider trying to find a way to live forever where should I start? Maybe a healthy diet and never ever cheat? Download my brain into a robot?? Do I really need to stop smoking some smoekrs live into their 90's but still that's not forever....

I want to basically create a customized tone generator set & sequencer that I can then use to create some music I've written. I guess it would just be a simple synthesizer, but using actual numbers - frequencies, functions or wave patterns, etc instead of dials, keyboard and a bunch of extra junk.

The thing is, I've never programmed a SB-compatible device, or any sound device actually. I've programmed CPU's and other devices but SB looks like a real ***** to work with at machine level.

I guess what I really need is some source for a software tone generator. I've seen programs that do some of what I'd like to do, but there's no source available for them. Or maybe someone can recommend a good C++ API that would provide the code I need?
