My hubby and I didn't find out the sex of our first baby and we LOVED the surprise when our son was born 17 months ago. We are now trying for a second baby and I would love another surprise. My hubby on the other hand wants to find out the gender. What do you all think about finding out the sex of the baby and keeping it a surprise? We're any of you disappointed about ruining the surprise when you found out?

I just started back to work and my husband is stay-at-home-dad caring for our 2 month old. I pump my breast milk and he's bottle-fed through the day. This was my first week back so it was a transition. My son would only eat about 2 ounces per feeding and would only take the bottle 2-3 times during the time i was gone for work: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM. He sleeps through the night, but i wake him around 5:00 AM for a feeding and then he goes back to sleep until 9:00 AM.

After the two ounces he appears to be content, however, sometimes they fight with the bottle and he's so exhausted that he just takes a nap. Does anyone have suggestions to make the bottle-feeding easier for my son and husband? And do you believe the two ounces is enough? When i pump during the day i get around 4-5 ounces every three hours.

I will be returning to work in a few weeks and my son will be two months old. I have exclusively been breast feeding him. I was wondering how much other babies his age eat from a bottle. We have given him a few bottles and it seems he eats around 2 1/2 ounces per feeding. What are your experiences with two month olds? And how often do they eat? Thanks in advance.

Just wondering when everyone first took their newborn out in the world. Where did you go and for how long? My little one is 8 days old and we haven't really gone anywhere yet as i'm worried about germs. ;)

My due date has come and gone (September 3rd). I was just wondering when you went into labor AFTER your dute date. Or how many of you were induced? And when were you induced? I'm so ready to have this baby. Haven't had any signs of labor except some menstrual like cramping and back ache. Excited to see our new lil one. Thanks.

I am 39 weeks and 3 days. I was just wondering how many went into labor before their due date and how many did after their due date. I know it's different for everyone, just curious! :)

I was 1.5 cm dialated at the doctor's office yesterday. This is my first baby and i'm not due for about another three weeks. I'm just wondering how many people went "weeks" before going into actual labor when dialiating. I have not had any contractions at all and i'm 50% efaced. Please let me know how it went. I'm just curious as to how many went into labor this early?? Thanks everyone.

I am 18 weeks pregnant, and we aren't finding out the sex. We have a few names picked out and I just wanted to get everyone's opinion.

If it's a girl it will be Charlotte Liliana or Isabelle Alicia. Charlotte and Alicia are both family names.

If it's a boy we're thinking Nicolas Raabe. Raabe is pronounced Robby, it's my mother's maiden name.

I need another boys name with possibly a middle name of Steven, another family name. As you can see we like traditional names. I'd also like opinions on the names we already have picked out. Thanks!

I took a pregnancy test on Christmas and it was positive, of course my husband made me take a few more....all were positive!! :) We had been trying for a year and are so excited. We told our immediate family members and I'm just wondering when everyone told their extended family, friends and co-workers. I am only 4 weeks.

My dog just had nine Labrador puppies and we are going to keep one. We have a Yellow Labrador who is 7 and his name is Maximus (he's 95 pounds). We are going to keep a Black Female and cannot decide on a name. I want something cool that goes along with Maximus. I was thinking maybe Roxy, but I want some other ideas. Thanks in advance. :)

My husband and I are TTC #1 and we already have discussed not finding out the sex of the baby. It seems that nowadays more people are finding out the sex. I was just curious who has and who hasn't found out whether they are having a boy or girl and why.

Yeah I know everyone is asking this question but I just can't help it. I shouldn't have my period for another few days....but for the past two weeks I have had mild cramping off and on. No other symptoms except being tired, but I'm usually tired because of work anyway. Just wanted some of your thoughts! Thanks.... TTC #1

We have a very large aquarium, however we are not filling it up all the way with water because we have a turtle in it. The measurements of the water: 9 inches X 73 inches X 7.5 inches. How many gallons are we putting in the aquarium? Thanks!!

My husband and I are TTC. I finished my last pack of BC last month. I was on BC for about 4 years. I have not had my period since December 13th. I do not really know my cycle because i was on the BC. I have taken two pregnancy tests and both say not pregnant. I was just wondering if anyone has had this happen? Or if there are any suggestions? I will be making a doctors appointment sometime next week if my period does not come, it's been 32 days and before BC my cycles were about 28 days apart. Thanks for any information, i can't stand the waiting....we've been married for almost 8 years and are ready to start a family.

I'm wondering if anyone has information on what medications are not recommended when pregnant (Tylenol, cough syrup, muscle relaxant, etc.). Over-the-counter medications are the ones i'm most concerned about. What would be good to take for headaches, etc.? Thanks in advance. My hubby and I are TTC and just want to be sure!
