Since I have to move my pages from Geocities, I need a free site that will easily upload my complete geocities pages. Any ideas?

This is a 3-part question:

1) Which quality do you look at most when you are deciding whether to begin a relationship with someone? Humor, intelligence, looks, sense of style.

2) Now, which one of the following qualities would be a deal-breaker (i.e. you would never date this person)? Little sense of humor, low average intelligence, has a few extra pounds on, doens't wear the most recent trendy clothes.

3) How about these deal-breakers? Which is worse? No sense of humor, borderline intelligence, obese, wears all the wrong clothes and in the wrong way.

Please give reasons for your selections.

Where is the best dating site or social networking site that realizes the biases against "big and beautiful?" Most internet sites have you go through several steps then, Whoops! he finds out you're heavy and falls out of communication. At the same time, I don't want a site JUST for BandB, because I hope to have surgery soon and would hate the guy to fall out of love with me because I'm no longer fat.

What do you do when you're in between knowing you should break up and actually having the courage to do so? When you know that you are lonelier with him than you would be by yourself. But you feel that you will die if you have to start your life over again. When you realize that you have wasted several years of your life, and missed the chance to do some wonderful things, because you were putting your relationship in front of other dreams (like having children). Then it's all gone. He's never home, he rarely talks to you, he acts like it's painful just to be in the same room. You wonder where the man you fell in love with went. Is he still there? Could he come back? Have you given him enough time?

I have a hp 512n. I have 128mb SDRAM that is upgradable to 512mb. However, the hp site "memory finder" does not even have my model listed as a choice. How do I know which memory card will be compatible?

I'm curious to see which direction Christianity/Atheism conversions tend to go and why. If you used to be one, and now you're the other, tell us which and what was it that made you begin to change you way of thinking.

To clarify, I define "fundamental Christians" as people who believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible (ex. Jonah really was swallowed by a fish, the earth was created in 7-24hour days, Noah built an ark and saved his family and 2 of each species of animal in a world wide flood) instead of seeing the Bible as some other form of religious teaching such as metaphor (ex. the immensity of Noah's task represents daily obstacles in our life that seem impossible to overcome, the 7 day creation story merely signifies that God was able to accomplish a lot in a little time due to his magnificence).

Please only post if you are fundamentalist or have accurate and direct knowledge of fundamentalist religions. I am curious to know which denominations tend to read the Bible literally.

I'll start... being raised as a preacher's kid, I can say that Southern Baptist preachers in our area pretty much always were fundamentalists.

I've noticed that sometimes questions seem fake. For example, someone who claims to be a kid but has the vocabulary, spelling, and seems to have life experiences way above their years. The questions I've noticed aren't actually incendiary, but it's like they are wanting to pull in sympathy of well-meaning suckers. For example, "I'm 12 and pregnant", "read this poem that I (age 10) wrote about death and blood and suicide", or "I think I might be psychotic because my fish just told me to buy a gun." Often the question is begging a response like "Oh, honey, please don't hurt yourself" or "You need to tell your mom about this... email me if you need to talk." Often I check out the asker and they're new level 1s or they have all questions and no answers or something else weird sticks out. So.... are they "trolls" or is there another name for these guys who like to pray on the gullible and kind-hearted just for the fun of it?

I'm considering moving to the UK and would like to exploring mental health positions. But I can't make sense of the mental health degrees /titles/ job positions. I will have my terminal social work license in the States (LCSW) which followed my Master's (MSW) and two years supervised therapy. What qualification does this translate to in England? The position I would like would be working with kids ages 2-18 in a mental health setting (not in a hospital or residental placement or going to client's homes) doing individual, family and group therapy. I don't want to just do assessments or case work. What kind of organizations hire for this kind of position and what is the usual title for this position (for example this would be "outpatient" or even "school-based therapy" provided by a "mental health professional"). I'm mainly finding positions in the UK entitled "Senior Practitioner" or "locum qualified social worker" working in a "Children and Family Team."

Recent info I've received seems to say there isn't much of a health benefit. So, I'm wondering what are some of the reasons why people choose to have this procedure performed? Did the doctor or hospital provide info on benefits and risks? Did you ask? If you got information (from Dr., internet, friends, etc.) what did it say?

And don't tell me about "health reasons" since this, I'm sure, would have been a cover-up for real religious/political motivations behind popularizing this procedure. Think about it... if a doctor told you today that by cutting off your child's thumb could possibly prevent some minor healthy problems later, how quickly would you be convinced to do it? So who pushed so hard to get this thing going on a regular basis where religious concerns aren't involved?

Please understand that I am not knocking any religious belief that adheres to this practice. I'm just wondering why someone would do it if it isn't a religious issue for the parent.
