  • Should I transfer to the closest Walmart to me or the one farther away?

I’v been working for Walmart for 6 months. I want to transfer to a different location because of the managers I work with are making my job harder for me and I won’t get into details but the location I work at this location 8 min away from my house and I dont really know much people here and I would sometimes go eat home for lunch. The 1st location that is closest to me is 2 min away in fact it is behind my neighborhood and it wouldn’t take me long to walk there if I wanted to. I know a few employees there even before working at the other Walmart when I went to get groceries or pick up one thing real quick and it is also down the street to my school so a lot of friend from my school would always be there. The third location is the newest and is about 14 min away roughly and I would know little to no one there since it’s is farther away from home and school however it is in the center of my town where they get a lot more people and have a lot more shopping centers so it would be busier but because of that it is one of the few walmarts in Texas that have the upgrade like fast unloaders, cleaning robot and the pickup up tower and the other two Walmart closest to me don’t have that which would make the job easier in a way I think. I don’t really want to work at the Walmart closest to me because in a way I feel embarrassed working at Walmart in the first place but I needed the job but it being closer to my house and school is nice and it’s the oldest one of the three.

  • How do i grow out my hair?

i'm a guy wanting to experiment and try to grow my hair out for the first time. During quarantine when places where closed I attempted to cut my own hair and like alot of people I failed miserably and messed up my hair in the process. it is still fixable but when i did i wanted the end goal of growing my hair out to shoulder length and I talk to a friend for advice and he suggested to buzz it off that way it will grow all in one length which is a bit extreme but won't have to go out much to cut my hair as often but i risk being in a few awkward stages while trying to grow it out. I know that hair on the sides and back grow back faster than on top so I don't know what to do. Right now i just trimmed my hair to a bowl cut or mushroom cut currently wear a hat if i have to go anywhere. I'm thinking i might have to take a plunge and go out and go to a barber and cut my head to a crew cut or something that will make growing my hair out easier and manageable in the process. Can anyone give me a good starting hairstyle that will help reset my hair as well as making my hair grow out easier

  • Khakis or Jeans for work?

So My job is working at a restaurant/arcade where the uniform is business casual and the shirt is a button oxford shirt with dark wash jeans usually. I had knee surgery from an injury that happened at work and jeans aggravate that 6 inch scar on my knee and it start to burn bad. I asked my manager if I could wear khakis instead and he said he and I will have to talk to the GM when he is back on his week off on vacation if he will allow me to wear it . I just want confirmation of it is more beneficial for me to wear jeans and bite the bullet or wear khakis that are black

  • What could I wear to hide weight gain for men?

I am a 5’7 teen guy who is know to be very shy and quiet and iv started gaining a lot of weight since iv got injured with a broken knee. I can’t exercise to get the weight off and the other reason is depression. This is the most iv gained ever I was 145 pounds before and I’m at 190 pounds now. I want to lose the weight but in the mean time I’m trying to figure out what to do with clothes because I’m typically a size medium in T-shirt/shirts and and 30 to 32 waist in pants. I also have a job and it’s hard to wear my uniform because my knee scar rubs off of denim I wear and irritates it. I don’t like how I look right now and I would I appreciate it if someone tells me what to wear that will kinda “hide” or at least mask the weight gain and still look decent until I find a way to get back to the weight I was at before.

  • Is it weird to not want a promotion of a job I don’t like?

Is I bad that I don’t want promotion of trainer or lead after asking for it 3 years ago and being there for 5? Reason being is that I got a serious knee injury from work and I already hated my job but now iv been seriously depressed and more angry for suffering for over a year and going through rehab to get back the motion iv lost from my knee and the pain. Iv asked for the promotion of trainer before and the manager denied me of the job basically of how quiet and shy I am and wouldn’t be able to lead but they respect my work ethic. So what they did is they gave me a trainer name tag but I don’t have the perks that go along including the raise so basically I’m a lead without being a lead if that makes sense. That was 3 years ago and I could probably ask again but at this point I’m already injured, angry and depressed I really don’t care anymore and I just want to by my time and leave when I’m better. My parent think that having the trainer name on my resume will help for future jobs but I just want to pretend I never worked in that place. I can’t even look at my “trainer” nametag without feeling disappointed and angry so I just wear my basic nametag and because of my injury I could only be a cashier which to me and others is the most boring a time consuming job. I work at a place like Dave and Busters as a Games Attendant so a desk job is not the most exciting thing for me. I basically don’t want anything this job offer me anymore. I don’t even want a raise.
