For example, 102.5_>x_<174.25 (x is less than or equal to 102.5 and x is less than or equal to 174.25?)

Also, please explain your steps so that I can solve the next few problems independently. Thank you!

Is my poem in iambic pentameter?

My English teacher had us do sonnets, and I did a Shakespearian sonnet and we have to have the correct use of Iambic Pentameter. Is my poem in Iambic Pentameter or not? Also, does every line have 10 syllables, and if they don't, what can I do to change them?

  • How do I make a scale model of the solar system the size of a football field?

For my Geometry project, I have to make a scale model of the solar system the size of a football field. I have to scale the diameter at each planet's equator, and their distances from the Sun. Can you guys include the formula you used in your answer, if you used one and just explain the process of how you did it? I'm open to any ideas, advice, etc. on how to complete this project. Thanks!

  • Why is my new Windows 8 laptop crashing?

My parents bought me an HP Pavillion Touchsmart Sleekbook less than a week ago, and after downloading the new Windows 8.1 OS, it continually sends warning messages that the memory is too low, and then it closes and restarts. I have downloaded a number of apps like Google Earth, iTunes, Netflix, Google Chrome, a few games, Google Search engine, and many other things. My laptop has only 4 GBs of RAM, 3.98 GBs of which are usable. My iTunes automatically synced with the music app that came on the computer, which included 110+ songs. I managed to uninstall Google Earth, but my computer STILL keeps crashing. I also have antivirus and internet software: Norton Internet Security & Geek Squad stuff, which have stated I don't have any viruses. Addtionally, I ran a memory diagnostic on my computer, which said that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my computer's memory. I also recently downloaded the full version Microsoft Office 365 onto my computer. PLEASE tell me what I need to do in order for this to stop crashing.

  • Why do people search for an escape? Is it compensation for something else?

For all of my life, I've always compensated for my inner craving to be somewhere else (I'm not depressed, just saying). No, I definitely don't want to kill myself, but I was just wondering if all people went through the same thing and why.

When I was about five, I had a dream that I was in my backyard, and I was standing in front of a tall fence. I was small, so the size of the fence was exaggerated in the dream. I climbed to the top of my swing set to try to see what was on the other side, but was not tall enough. Instead, I looked between the crevices of the wood, and saw such a beautiful place that I felt like I new so well. I felt these feelings of sadness and rejection because I could never get to the other side.

I am very happy with my life, but I have always known there was something outside of this earth I craved heavily. I am just wondering, have any of you experienced this, or is it just me?

For instance, for finals week, we have a TON of powerpoints to present, but I don't have Microsoft Powerpoint. When I tried to download it onto my computer, it would not open the file. My computer has a lot of Anti-Virus software, and I don't really know much about firewalls. Please Help!!!!!

  • Craziest names you've ever heard?

One time, my friends and I were laughing at some insane names that they've heard, like La-A (pronounced Luh-Dash-Uh). I was wondering if anyone had some crazy, over-the-top names they've heard before. Craziest name gets best vote.

  • Dealing with a lack of motivation?

For a while, I have been determined to accomplish a few goals over periods of time. The most frustrating part is, I cannot carry these goals out without someone motivating me to do so. My interest and enthusiasm is there, but I just can't do it for some reason. I keep putting it off, believing my goals will be fulfilled eventually, but in reality, they probably will not unless it take more proactive steps.

Does anyone have a story to share and some advice to go along with it that would be helpful?

  • Should I get a convertible ultrabook?

I am going to be taking college classes this year, and my parents have offered to buy me a convertible ultra book. But, I'm a little apprehensive because I don't even know if I'll need it. You see, I prefer hand write my notes, and I'm afraid I won't find the right app, and I won't end up taking the notes I need. The main reason I wanted ultra book was because it was lightweight, convenient, and it could convert into a laptop when needed. Problem is, I don't know what kind ultra book I would need, or even if it's necessary to use.

If I do need an ultrabook, I would like an economic one that can hook up to a printer, and do all of that good laptop stuff. Any suggestions?

  • What piano piece should I start next?

I like to play a lot of romantic classical pieces, and I really wanted to learn something that sounded really beautiful. I didn't want something as difficult as Fantasie Impromptu by Chopin, but maybe a piece that was similar to Arabesque no. 1 by Debussy or Pathetique Sonata Mvt 2 by Beethoven. Any ideas?

  • Do I need a classical piano teacher?

So, when I was eight, I took two piano lessons from a piano teacher. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to continue my lessons, so I decided to teach myself the rest. I didn't start playing on a regular basis until I was about eleven or twelve, but before then, my keyboard (which is what I practiced on at the time) was basically collecting dust in a corner. Now, I am a somewhat advanced player (I guess). I can play sonatas like Adagio Pathetique 2nd Mvmnt by Beethoven and and Arabesque no. 1 by Debussy. I've memorized both pieces, and many others as well. However, I want to improve my fingering techniques, sight reading, and skill level. With that being said, do I need a piano teacher (Oh, and I also need to work on pedaling as well)? And if so, what kind of teacher do I need?

  • What defines a photographic memory?

Lately, I have been trying to learn about how to study. I have come to the conclusion that I am a very, very visual learner. I can only remember things long term efficiently by charts, diagrams, and pictures. In my spare of time, I also enjoy drawing pretty accurate pictures of things. Anyway, I doubt that I have a photographic memory, because I don't memorize text as well as pictures. I was just wondering if I could possibly have a semi-eidetic memory, meaning I can memorize a lot of things when I concentrate, but I can't memorize overwhelming text. I can also visualize insignificant past situations videos, movies, faces, scenes, pictures and add in things that I want to. If I see a flower, I can add in a bee, some grass, a nearby creek, etc. Sometimes I do this without noticing it. I was just wondering if maybe a had somthing of a photographic memory.

  • Which is better? Ukulele or Guitar?

I managed to learn and play all of the first about 9 fundamental guitar open chords, but other than that, guitar seems hopeless for me...so, I found out about how much easier ukuleles were to play, and wanted to find the pro's and con's of having a ukulele, rather than a guitar.
