  • UK people! Are they still making new MI-5 episodes?

I just started season 1 on Netflix, and was wondering if they are still making new episodes. This series doesn't air in the US, I wish it did! I'm really enjoying it!

  • State of Indiana Hanover patch?

I know this seems silly, but I saw a state trooper with a Hanover patch ( Indiana) and I wondered what it meant. And, no, we do NOT have a Hanover county. It is not like the "normal" patch, and every search I try just comes up with where to buy one.

Does anyone know what it means, or where it started? Thx!

  • Adhd and overeating, any ideas?

I have a 9 yr old who has ADHD, and we are having trouble with him eating too much. He has been waking up early in the morning, anywhere from 430-630, to eat. Now, while we don't necessarily like him waking this early, we wouldn't make such a big deal if he was eating things that were healthy. This morning he ate 4 donuts! The other morning he ate half a block of cheese. Basically, the only things he goes for is the junk! We have healthy foods available, bananas on the counter, fruit in the frige. I don't even mind if he eats turkey slices, but he always goes for the most unhealthy thing! I know a lot of this is the age, but it's getting to be a problem! And he doesn't know when to quit ( which goes along with the impulsiveness that many ADHD people have).

We have tried grounding, losing privaliges, things like that. We have considered locking things up, but I hate the thought of that. Nothing has been effective. I am open to ideas! We need some help!

    Thx!~

  • I have a bitter taste in mouth?

For the last 24 hours I have have a bitter taste in my mouth, accompanied by my salivary glands getting that sensation that they get right before you vomit. I am not nauseated, so i am not sure what is going on. I can't say they're overactive since i don't really have an increase in saliva. I have been experiencing more heartburn than normal, but none today. And before anyone asks, I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PINE NUTS! This is the main topic I get when I googled it. Any ideas?

  • Getting 9 mo old to drink from a sippy?

Ok, my youngest is 9 mos and will barely drink from a sippy. I exclusively bf, and I am fine with that except we are going on a trip at the end of July, and are leaving him home with my in-laws. I would not be concerned about it except for the fact that he would never take a bottle. So, now when we do try a sippy he might take one or two sips, and even then he usually lets it run down his chin, so he doesn't get much. He is my 4th, so you'd think I would know what to do, but all of my other ones took bottles. We have tried taking the valve out of regular sippy's, the soft Nuby, the touch-flow straw Nuby, I even bought the Tilty cup thinking that would work. He either chews on it, or lets it run out of his mouth. If anyone has any advise, I'd appreciate it! I know it's 2 months away, but I am starting to worry!

  • Having trouble getting baby to drink from a cup?

My 8 mo. old has never taken a bottle (just would never take one), and is still nursing 3 times a day, but I and going to be working this summer, so we have been trying to get him to take a cup. He just chews on the the soft spout sippy's and he was drinking pretty well out of just a regular cup ( with assistance of course!) But now, when I try to give him some out of the cup, he just lets it run out of his mouth! Any ideas? I don't know if he's just not thirsty when I try or what. I have heard really good things about the Tilty cups , but wanted some advise before I order them.

  • cloth inserts with disposable?

We use the up & up disposable diapers, and most of the time they are great. They only problem is that he leaks through overnight, so I was wondering if anyone has used cloth diaper inserts inside a disposable. I know it sounds kind of strange, but we are trying to do something more economical than buying a more expensive diaper. I was also wondering what kind is the best, and if anyone has used the Gerber birdseye cloth diapers. Remember, we are just looking for some extra absorbency overnight.

  • Has anyone used either Seredyn or TrueCalm while breastfeeding?

I had my first panic attack in 10 yrs a few days ago. I was on meds until I got pg, my little guy is now 8 mos old. The problem is that he won't take a bottle, and yes we've tried, and he doesn't do well enough with a cup to switch completely. So, I am looking for alternatives to going on the "normal" meds they would prescribe. If anyone has actually been on these while breastfeeding, that is what I want to know. I have already read the literature for each, and yes, I know there are no guarantee's about the effects. Thanks!

  • 6 year old with skin rash?

My 6 year old showed up with 2 bright red spots on his chest and abdomen yesterday, along with some blotchy spots around his mouth and nose. He also had severe stomach pain, which we ended up in the ER for, and ended up being nothing. Now, 24 hrs later, the original spots have faded, but he has more showing up all the time, for a total of about 10-15. When the doctor saw him yesterday, she really couldn't say what was causing it. He's not running a fever, and otherwise is totally normal. I know it's not impetigo, hand-foot-mouth, chickenpox, and I'm pretty sure it's not bed bugs cause they are spread pretty far apart, and are showing up even during the day. Anyone have any idea what this could be. He has an appt on Mon, but thought maybe someone would have some insight.

  • Recalled van still having issues?

I have a 2000 Pontiac Montana that is having multiple issues, especially with the power sliding door. Won't unlock most of the time, and it never shuts all the way when it does. We are the 2nd owners and have had it since 2005. When I called Pontiac, they said that there were no open recalls on my vehicle, so now what do I do? All of the things we are having a problem with have had a recall at some point. Is there anything I can do?

  • having trouble getting baby to take a bottle?

My baby is 6 weeks, and I am back at work only a few hours a week. We have tried almost every bottle nipple available, and they are either too hard, or too long and he gags on them. He has also never taken a pacifier. He seems to have a very strong gag reflex. Anyone have any ideas?? We've tried Avent, playtex naturalatch, gerber orthodontic nipples and the johnson's healthflow ( the short, wide ones) the johnsons he seemed to take the best, but gets a lot of air. My sis said he takes the gerber orthodontic ones into his mouth really well, but ends up gaging on them. Any help is appreciated!

  • For those using cloth diapers?

We are looking into using cloth diapers, and just wanted to know from those who use them, what kind do you like the best, and how many should you get, and is it financially worth it?? They seem really expensive, and even though you can "trade up", the cost kind of scares me.

  • Looking for a good nursing bra.?

I am looking for a good nursing bra that won't break the bank. I have tried the Motherhood bras, and while they aren't that expensive, they are crap. I have a larger bust size ( 44 DDD, E) and prefer lots of support. Does anyone know of a good, supportive nursing bra that doesn't cost a fortune??

  • Failed induction then natural labor?

I was induced for my 3 previous pregnancies, and we tried last Thurs to induce this one, but it failed. Just wondered if anyone has experienced only inductions, and then went into labor for a different pregnancy on their own. We are planning at this point to wait it out, but I'm a little afraid that my body won't know what to do. ( I know that sounds silly) Thanks!

  • For all of those in the UK?

I was reading an article about the boys who killed James Bulger in 1993, but the articles never said why they did it. Did the boys ever explain what led up to the killing?

  • 24 weeks preggo, deodorant stopped working?

I have always used Secret anti-perspirant . I am 24 wks pg, and suddenly, I am having issues with underarm sweating. I mean, I have wet spots, and I'm afraid to lift my arms when close to people. I am sure this is related to the pregnancy, but does anyone have any ideas of what to switch to?
