Help, my 2 year old quit sleeping through the night?
I am a Mommy of 2 boys, one is 7 months old and the other is 2 years and 3 months old. My 7 month old is usually up once a night (we are teething). BUT the last month or so, my Big Boy who used to go to bed just fine and sleep all night, now doesn't want to go to bed at his usual bed time and won't sleep all night. He lays in bed and talks to himself or makes many trips out to us (that only gets him put immediately back to bed), now he is up around 3am for anywhere from 15 minutes to 3 hours! My husband and I are at our wit ends. We are both working parents and sleep is a commodity that we both like to have at least a small block of. Sometimes between the 2 boys we don't get a consistent amount of sleep.
My Big Boy does have all his teeth, so I know it's not that. The only other thing that has changed for him, is this last week we just started potty training.
Please help. We would appreciate any real suggestions or advice.
3 AnswersToddler & Preschooler8 years agoShould I go into nursing or not?
I have always had respect for any and every medical position. As of late, my husband and I have decided I need a new/better career. He has suggested nursing. I find that interesting, but I am not sure I am cut out for it. I have no issues with blood or anything like that and I could physically perform all the duties. I just know that I don't have a passion for it. I would do the job for the money mostly. My concerns are caring to much for patients, my 2 boys that are 2 and 7 months (and what the schooling/schedule would do to the family life). I currently work in retail so I have no issues with being screamed at. Trust me.
