so me my gf and our 2 yr old, moved from one state to another and did not really like it, but we didnt have the money to move back after just moving to there. my gfs uncle told us that we could come stay with him his and my gfs younger brother until we get everything together (he said the most we could stay was 3 years). so we came and for awhile it was good, we searched for jobs, had interviews, but no luck. so about 9-10 months later his wife died and he decided to become a real asshole towards. Blaming us for all of his problems (even his wifes fatal heart attack) and wanted us to leave. we got extremely lucky and both found jobs at the same time, he knew this and we told him we were going to save up and leave, however he still continued to start arguments with my gf while i was at work, busted down the bathroom door while she was in there and started yelling, brought over the guy he buys drugs from, into our room while my gf and son were sleeping and i was at work (i called 4 friends to go over and make sure nothing happend). then he puts a padlock on the door we use to enter and leave the house while we were sleeping, so we called the cops and they made him remove it. all of this in a matter of 2 weeks. so today we got a letter of eviction in the mail to show up to court next week, i have no intention on winning this case or pushing it to trial. we just need 30 days to save up enough money to move out, will the judge give us that much time ?

bought a used car and have to do the title transfer later today and the the registration. I'm getting insurance on the car beforehand, but i was just wondering if you're required to have insurance before doing the registration and title transfer ?

when you add a second car to your auto insurance (under another driver) when is the first payment ? that same day or net month ?

so my gfs uncle was locked up due to unpaid child support, he was there for a few days and his wife paid his bail and had him released and he was told to show up to court on may 4th. however his wife (who is 61) had a heart attack the night before and was rushed to the hospital, she was on life support until the 5th were her body gave up and she passed. this was explained to the court house but they are still issuing a warrant for his arrest. he's afraid he will be arrested before his wifes funeral and even if he doesn't, he cant handle jail right now. there has to be something that can be done,if our justice system is that ****** up that they cant excuse an old man who missed a court date because his wife was dying (and eventually died) then idk.

not a car guy, but im trying to replace my valve cover gasket. Now when i go to remove the spark plugs, they wont come out. im not giving it full force in fear of stripping the bolt or breaking it. should i give it full force ?

i need to change my rear wheel cylinder but my brake drum wont come off. if i eventually get it off, do i need to replace that too

it's priced as 2,400 on KBB (fair condition). its needs a few minor things (a cylinder for the left rear wheel, master window switch, oil pan gasket. and the major thing would be a windshield. it's cracked across and doesn't get in the way when you drive it but it was enough to not pass safety inspection. i know i wont get 2,400 for it. but what can i expect ? should i take it to a used car dealer or a ford dealership ? (its a ford)

it smells pretty bad about after 5 min of the car running, if i look under the car i can see where it's coming from, not a mechanic or anything so i cant tell you what it is, but it kind of looks like the oil pan. its dripping small amounts of oil as well, but the oil levels are fine. (it's also producing white smoke)

My brake pedal is spongy and i have air in my brake lines, i know that i need them bled out but i might have other issues with them. sometimes when i go to stop (usually downhill) the brakes kind of jump and they dont bring the car to a complete stop. i havnet driven it since i hit another cars rear bumper due to the car not stopping, luckily there was no damage. but im not taking it out again on luck. well this problem go away with the air in the brake lines ? or is it something else ?

im not sure if its cranking but when i go to turn the key it just makes loud thunk or click (idk how to describe it) its not rapid either, maybe like a second or half apart. i can feel the car move with the hunk and the lights on the dash flicker and the radio goes completely off. (all the lights and evrything else electrical works). i think maybe it needs a jump and eventually a new battery. hopefully im right but i could definitely use more insight on this.

. I've been looking everywhere online for days and everyone says it's in the trunk of center console. Now It's not in the trunk (and it's not exposed in any other way in the console, I've looked in the glovebox and just about everywhere else) so it can only be the main cd player think right? I'm sorry if my terminology is horrible. Now if the changer/player is the main cd player console thing, HOW do I get it to take more cd's? I've tried almost anything, when there is a cd already in and I hit the "cd" button next to it, it says "no dj" So I am at a lost as to how to use my own car. Any help is great.
