I have been looking at the Naval Academy and have been looking to graduate from there. I know that I'll need to do years in the service but I'm looking to make my commitment to the USMC. And I apologize for all the questions but I'm very determined. How would I go around applying( I know it's not actual applying like a college) for it? How long does it normally take to go through all the training and is it different from the normal enlistment training? What is the pay grade like for Officers?

I'm looking at colleges and it seems like a good choice for me. What are some of the best courses there to take? I know financial aid can be available but is the expensive out of state tuition worth it?

I have been wondering how much horsepower and torque the 454 in a Chevelle that I am looking to purchase. Any ideas? I've heard people say it's over 500 which I wouldn't doubt, but it's been driving me nuts.

I purchased the Dell AX210 speakers a little while ago and they don't work. They're plugged in in the usb port and the audio jack in the computer but still no sound. It sounds like it might be that the computer doesn't recognize the speakers so it won't play the sound. Any ideas that might help?

I currently live in Virginia, and I was wondering about admissions. Are there any specific test scores that I need? I've always thought of myself to be fairly bright, averaging A's and B's in all AP classes. Should I buckle down and go for strait A's to get into Tech or just continue my regular path? I've wanted to go the Virginia Tech since I was little, and now I'm exploring all my opportunities and the possibilities. I have back up schools, but I want to know is there anything that Virginia Tech requires out of me, test score wise?

Everything is a competition in life. To make the most money. To be the smartest person, or to have the best job. To go out and protest so that your views will be heard instead of someone else's. But my question is why. Why do people feel the need to compete? I'm your average guy. I love sports. Playing, watching, cheering. But I never figured out why people need the competition. Everybody wants to be the best or have the best. Why can't they just enjoy what they have?

I get enough sleep at night, but for some reason I can't drag myself out of bed. I would lie in bed for around 30 extra minutes and I'm trying to get up faster. Alarms don't work and the only way I can get out of bed is for my mom to nag at my *** until I get up. Is there any way that I can get up a lot easier?

A couple years ago, I moved to a little chicago suburb where i met all of these amazing people. They've always been there for me, but it seems like they all changed over the summer. My Dad works in the State Department, and he is on a one year tour in Baghdad so that I could stay here another year. My mom and I fight a lot, and I always get blamed for everything that happens in my family's lives. I recently went through a harsh break-up with my girlfriend of 9 months for one of my closest friends. I have seem to hit my breaking point from stress from every aspect of life. My friends are the only family that I truly believe and trust in now, and my family are just people who whine at me when i get home. When my dad gets back from his tour of duty next May, then we pack up and leave for some God-forsaken place. I don't want to lose the people that I love, because I have done this before and I haven't talked to those friends in years. I am sick of losing the things that mean the world to me and I am sick of being torn apart from moving across the globe. I'm only 13, but sometimes I just wish that life would hurry up and end. I know that I would miss on a lot of important events that make life worth living, but I know that I will also miss the aspects that make life depressing and horrible. I just need someone to help me out, for I am simply falling apart.
