  • Is Stephen Hawkings's No Creator Necessary, Creditable?

Every time there is a paradigm shift, it causes a split in the scientific community. Scientist are forced to take a position. To incorporate the new information into there being or reject it. Often that decision isn't based upon scientific reasons. But rather the scientist's own personnel philosophy. This, in my humble opinion, is what has happened with Stephen Hawkings. Being confronted with scientific proof of a higher power, he retreats into the materialist mindset. Where he doesn't have to confront the reasons for his own life's experience. In the light of a infinitely powerful and intelligent Creator.

The on going verification of "string theory" is bringing the next paradigm shift.

Does the fact that laws form and maintain the material, prove their is NO creator? Or do the existence of those laws, out side and before the material, help define and prove the Creator?

  • convergent evolution, what's the chances?

A recent article in Trends in Genetics, "Causes and evolutionary significance of genetic convergence" which tries to explain the many instances of genetic sequences (some as long as a book) popping up all over the Tree of Life. With no apparent physical connection. ID and Creation scientist both say this re-use of genetic modules prove an intelligent cause. Darwinist claims of independent mindless evolution seems to suggest, plagiarism isn't part of reality. My question is. How can I in good conscious accept "convergent evolution" to explain the many instances of the same morphology and systems evolving over and over again, independently from each other? Can any one give a good scientific hypothesis for convergent evolution? Not just it happens.

  • Does Hillary Think Government Should Be Thought Police?

Hillary's recent statements about "the war on science" that Bush and others are making; and how she would put an end to it. Is a declaration for HER government, to step in and DICTATE what scientist and philosophers THINK?

The so called "war on science", was coined by some scientist who are losing a scientific debate with other scientist. Because the debate has touched on possible religious issues.

So Hillary, thinks SHE should step in, with the power of the government and decide what is science and what it isn't? Or that HER government should take sides in the debate and outlaw the scientist on the other side?

I say, BOO to Hillary Clinton, for this proclamation. What do you say?

  • Is "the Lord our God, the Lord One. correct?

The verse often used by those who do not accept the trinity or divinity of Christ. translated: Deut. 6,4 "Hear O Isreal, the Lord our God , the Lord is One". But is that the real translation?....

"But when we look more closely, we see that Adonai, often translated “LORD,” is plural, “my Lords.” Eloheynu, often translated “God,” is also plural, “our Gods.” A literal translation of the Shma would be, “… my Lords our Gods my Lords one.” Three mentions of God. A perfect representation of the Blessed Trinity. The second mention of God, moreover, is Eloheynu, “our Gods,” not Elohai, “my Gods,” suggesting the Second Person, who would open the Torah to the whole world. “One” reminds us that God is one Blessed Trinity."

  • Was Isaac Newton an Arian Christian?

Some historians of secular academia have suggested he was. (didn't believe in the trinity or divinity of Christ). But what real proof is there of this. Show me some if you know of any.

Newton: "Christ is called the righteous (1 Iohn 2.1 ) & by his righteousness we are saved (Rom. 3.25. & 5.18 1 Cor. 1.30) & except our righteousness exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees we shall not enter into the kingdome of heaven. (Mat. 5.20.) Righteousness is the religion of the kingdom of heaven (2 Pet. 3. 13 Isa 60 21) & even the property of God himself" Newton says plainly, "Christ is called righteous, which is a property of God,

we obtain that righteousness through faith in Christ. "by his (Christ) righteousness we are saved". This is a direct indication of his belief in Jesus Christ being the same as God!

  • Have you read Isaac Newtons thoughts?

Here is what he tought about true religion, atheism from his scientific perspetive.

    http://www.newtonproject.sussex.ac.uk/texts/viewte...

He is obviously a Christian. By many he is considered the father of modern science.

How do you think the modern scientific establishment would treat him? I think they would black list him. Like they just did the astromoner, Gonzalez. Who co-authored the "Privileged Planet".

  • If this question disturbs you, Why?

We finally make it to Mars. We find the remains of anciet cities and all kinds of civilization relics. But we don't find a single creature. Not even a bone or hair.

With you current scientific philosophy. Would you be forced to look for natural causes for the cities and relics? Or would you conclud that they were designed by, unseen and unknown, intelligent beings?

  • Why did Mother Teresa Doubt her Faith?

I think it is because Catholics are heavily into a Works religion. Where as true Christianity is a Grace religion. See Romans 11.6 . This is also why Martin Luther started the reformation.

God honors those whose preach Jesus Christ, and salvation through faith in Him, and Him alone. Religion that says you must earn your salvation; He rejects.

Mother Teresa did finally learn this near the end of her life. But it took years of tears and trying; before she finally let go, and just trusted. She finally accepted her Sainthood, by faith; and faith alone.

  • Is literal Bible Translating 'old fashioned'?

"Literal", def. in part: Conforming or limited to the simplest, nonfigurative, or most obvious meaning of a word or words. Prov. 1.22 "How long you simple minded, will you hate knowledge?" paraphrased

In my opinion, religious simple minded* doctrinal believes. Are just as damaging too society as are the simple minded beliefs of the atheist and materialist. What do you think?

    * I'm not saying some doctrines aren't simple. But rather their is a tendency to boil the whole Bible down to simplistic, interpetations.

  • Have Scientist Created A New Family or Genus, ?

Scientist have worked on speeding up mutation, by artificial means for many decades. They have also been intelligent agents behind attempts to create new types of creators.

Through breading, splicing and gene manipulation, they have created new verities of species. But I have never heard that any of those passed on multiple new t traits to future generation's.

Thusly creating a new Genus. Just more varieties of the same species.

IF evolution was really true, it would seem scientist could develop all kinds of new animals. Like flying pigs. I guess Evolution will be considered true, "when pigs fly". LOL

Any way, does anyone know of a whole new life form, created by scientist? I'll even accept six winged fruit flies. IF they have successfully breed new generations, of a successful fruit fly species.
