Does the mercruiser alpha one stern drive water pump cool the upper gear case when the raw water is pumped to supply the cooling of a engine, Or can the pump impeller be removed and instead use a engine water pump for cooling a engine and heat exchangers, Thanks

Thinking of fitting a car turbo diesel engine in a boat (year about 2001) but unsure what is needed just to run the engine and Not in limp mode, as the car dash, airbag light, braking system, and all other things will not be connected only the engine sensors, Also unsure about the mobiliser controlled by a ecu, The engine throttle linkage may be on the injector pump or else ware, Would I need a power train module for the engine ? The stove it self is 20" high but not put any doors on the front face yet, The front face is 3.1/2" wide, and the sides are 6" deep,

Have a chimney tube and is 39" long and has a 2.3/8" inside diameter, I don't know if the inside diameter is big enough for the smoke, Thanks

I am not sure about how many micron for filtration with water,

All I found is 1mm = 1000 micron

The part I don't understand is:The lower the micron rating, The finer the sediment removal

Is this correct or should it be the higher micron The finer the sediment removal,

The end of the shift lever has no peg to attach anything to it just a sort of clip, There also is a thin nylon tube to take the morse cable inner wire,

Have got the outer casing of the morse cable fitted in the case already that would run inside the boat that would be connected to the linkage with a 3" travel moovment of the inner of the morse cable, Thanks

On these VOLVO AQ 270 OUTDRIVE can the engine input be clockwise or anti clockwise as the propeller on one outdrive is a right hand, I don't know if the outdrive has a built in oil pump that is suited to engine rotation, and what type of sprockets inside the leg, Thanks

Having a BT engineer round to fit a new bt infinity have the package ready for him but looks the same parts but smaller,I usually fit my own hub so do i need the engineer to fit it as my computer is only accessible for me with all the connections i don't want to pull it all out,The broadband at the moment works fine with a good speed without infinity,Can i leave it as it is and tell the engineer to go away and i will install it when i am ready or when the old hub fails,Thanks

If a old building has to be rewired because the wiring is old,will the electricians put the new cables out the way in between the rafters like the old cables in the loft,or will they run them the quickest way across them to save time and wire,they will be rewiring mains sockets and ceiling light wires and probably other things,There is also plumbing copper pipes in the loft as well,this is a small house in london United Kingdom,
