I have been on Ortho-Tricyclin LO for 3 years now and yesterday went to my doctor and they noticed that I had high blood pressure. It was 140/ 98. I'm not overweight or have had this problem before. I do have anxiety though. He recommended that I take a Progestin only pill instead of a combined pill because it can possibly cause a stroke. I know that the progestin only pills are less effective as combined and I'm really afraid of them not working. Does anyone have an experience from switching pills from combined to progestin only, I would really like to know if there is a difference between the two and how they worked out for you. Thanks!

Has anyone ever taken their driving test at the California DMV in San Ysidro? I'm taking my first drive test there in a week and I wanted to know the route. I've been driving around the area and it's mostly highway. Thanks! I'll give 10 points and 5 stars for the route. :-)

I'm learning how to drive and I'm still scared. I've been driving for about 5 hours and I still have trouble with turning. I can steer fairly well, it's just that I'm confused on reducing your speed when you turn. Are you suppose to just let off the gas or press the brake? I'm not getting this, and I don't want to get rear ended or loose control of the car. Any advise? Thanks, in advance. This may seem like a dumb question.

There is a black bag within a white grocery bag on the side of the curb by my block. At first, it was a minimal odor which transitioned into a dead carcass smell. And recently it started leaking blood, not heavy. The bag is pretty stuffed, resembling a basketball shape. It looked like a quick "dump and run" type of situation.

My b/f is helping his nephew train in Judo. His Nephew is 4'7 85 lbs. He is pretty hefty but not chubby. Is it good or bad? It's for strength training, not for bulking.

Last year my boyfriend was on the wrestling team in college. His teeth went through his lip and had to have stitches. Problem is he didn't have medical insurance and they later billed him in the mail for the charges. Over 800.00. We both have been actively seeking work and no luck. We don't have the money to pay it and I wanted to know if he can be disqualified from joining the military based on this bill not being paid. It's been almost a year and we still can't pay it. I have a small problem. I had just earned my Associates degree in liberal studies since I want to be an elementary school teacher. I plan to go to a 4 year university to complete my bachelor's degree. I applied for a job at the ymca and I went to the interview and completed child abuse training, and they offered the job to me, without doing a background check. My small problem is that about a year ago, I worked for a retail store and I had to pay restitution back for an incident. The incident was that I took a check from a customer for payment for purchases- without it being signed. The store went bankrupt and I had to pay the amount back from my own pocket. They said since the shortage was in my employee ID number that it was considered theft. They placed my name in a retail theft database (apisenterprise.com). And now I'm afraid that since the ymca never ran a background check on me before they offered me the position that I might not get the job. I have a clean record other than this minor incident. On the application it asked if I was convicted of a crime and I marked no because, I haven't. I never spoke to a police officer, or went to court. Could they hold this against me? I would like to know if anyone has any advise. Thanks.

Hi, I had an interview with the YMCA as a youth leader and I wanted to know about how long does it take to get a call back? I had an "interactive" interview on Friday May 22, 2009 (roughly a week and a half ago.) They said it is a process and that they would be calling references and the references I had listed informed me that they were never called. They said the job began on July 21, 2009 and that would give them about 1 month to train us. They were hiring roughly 150 people (I saw in the newspaper.) I don't really feel confident in the interview since I was nervous. I think I messed up on one part but overall I gave my best shot. I was the youngest out of the group and I don't know if this was a disadvantage. Is there any advise anyone could give me as to call back or give them some more time? (they were having a lot of interviews) Thanks!

I recently ordered a free full background check on me through choicepoint.com because I usually check to make sure everything is accurate. My report arrived and as I reviewed it it stated that I had an "esteem" incident that never occurred. This information is completely false. It stated that it was theft from my last employer and I never was a deliquent worker. I can't go to my employer since I was laid-off because they went out of business. This is holding me back from finding employment and I don't know what to do. Please advise. Thank you.

I'm a college student attending a community college and I'm ready to transfer to a University to complete my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts to become a school teacher. My question is that if the university that I live closest to is so impacted with students (they're not taking anymore applicants) I will be delayed for a semester if I'm not accepted. Does anyone know any online accredited schools/universities that credits can be transferred to San Diego State University? I just don't want to take a semester off. Thank you.

My boyfriend and his 9 year old nephew were in his backyard play wrestling. His nephew fell on a rock and hurt his head and started to cry. His neighbor was spying on them through the fence and shouted at my boyfriend, "I GOT YOU KNOW!! I'M GOING TO REPORT YOU!" and his neighbor is this nosy woman that has been always out to get him. She also falsely accused him of shooting her window with a BB gun a couple of months ago(he doesn't even own one and was at school from 7 am to 8pm (he's in college) ) Is this considered child abuse, can I do something to help (I hate this woman!) and its taking everything I have not to go over to her house and give her a piece of my mind.
