"The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him" (King James).

If Jesus was God, why did it say it was a revelation given to him by God?

There seems to be some accusations that JW's have written their own bible to suit their beliefs. Although they have a translation of the bible, does it "suit" their beliefs?

Jehovah's Witnesses have made adjustments to their beliefs for years, including recently. Why have they adjusted their beliefs according to "their" bible, why not adjust their bible as so many claim they do?

Another point, the New World Translation is published in about 55 languages, yet as an organization are in 235 lands and countries, in fact, the What Does God Require Of You brochure is published in nearly 270 languages.

What bible do JW's in those languages use? They use local versions and translations, including King James, NIV amongst others. JW's across the globe are not all using the New World Translation, yet why do they all know and learn the same thing?

It's not necessarily the particualar bible --- could it be they are taught the truth from whatever bible is used?

Other people seem to know more about other people's religions and beliefs better than the individuals themselves?

I see so many answers of people stating as fact about other religions, when they clearly know absolutely nothing, no wonder everyone is always argueing in here?

Such as the Trinity:

Or the cross:

This reference is from the King James, where Paul states that Christ was being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree.

He was quoting from Deuteronomy 21: 22,23 --- long before Jesus walked the earth.

Was everyone hung to a cross?

If Jesus really was God in the flesh, who was watching things from above or answering prayers while he was on earth? And what about when he was an infant?

Do people choose atheism because of distrust of organized religion or do some choose such a path because it absolves them of accountability?

This is actually a serious question that I am looking for serious answers to. Every civilization at every era in human history has in one way or another had some spiritual desire to be filled. What makes an Atheist become Atheist?

I see so many questions to Muslims, Mormons, Christians, Jehovah's Witnesses, Atheists and others that people who obviously know nothing about that faith try to answer a question. When people ask a question (genuinely), it may be me but I think they are looking for an answer from somebody who knows --- not somebody who says "I think ..." or "I heard ..."

I don't know much about every religion but I can see how many answers are way off, why can't people keep their ignorance to themselves?

I have all the pieces but I think the rules got misplaced in our move. If anyone has a copy, scan, etc. I would appreciate a copy and am willing to pay a reasonable price for it. If not, do you know how much money everybody starts with, we may be able to figure out the rest.

There is always debating as to whether the US should open talks with nations like Iran and North Korea.

If you were the President what would you say to leaders like Kim Jong or Achmidenijad (sp?) if you got them to the table?

How would you convince them to work toward long-term peace in the region(s) and in the world?

What would you say about their hateful rhetoric and support of global terrorism?

I don't particularly care what side of the aisle you're on, I'm just curious as to what people can come up if they discuss some ideas.

Have you ever noticed that people get angry when they are hit with the truth. Nobody gets mad when you accuse them of something that isn't true. If you tell an attractive but bad actor / actress they are ugly, you simply get laughed at, if you tell them they are overated they get upset --- the truth hurts. Democrats are accused of being weak on defense, they get angry and pretend to be patriotic, you tell them tax cuts are good for the economy, they get angry and tell you Republicans give tax cuts to the rich (By the way, the bottom 50% of taxpayers, in other words the not so rich, pay about 3.3% of the tax bill --- 3.9% under Clinton). If you tell them we will win the war on terror, they undermine the effort and aid the enemy.

Why is it Democrats are doing all they can to sabotage the country, why do they give away our secrets, help and appease our enemy, and rant and rave without a single solution?

Is it at all interesting that the ones that encourage kids to kill themselves for the ultimate reward and 72 virgins, never seem interested to get there themselves?

Notice how political parties are said to be LEFT if liberal or RIGHT if conservative.

Think for a minute, when is LEFT ever right? --- Case in point, somebody with wrong ideas is said to be out in LEFT field, never in right field. Also, somebody with a few screws loose is said to be LEFT of center, not right of center.

However, just the word for conservatism itself is RIGHT. Also note that somebody who can be trusted and relied upon is your RIGHT hand man, not your left hand man.

Is it all a coincidence?
