Hi, I'm Veronica.

  • What happened to the pictures on my cell phone? Half are missing!?

This morning I turned my cell phone, which is serviced by Verizon, only to discover half of my pictures are missing. Last night I showed my mom a picture and I know that it takes a lot of time to erase that many. So what happened? Is there something wrong with my cell phone? Or is it the serivce? Do you think I will get my pictures back?

  • Will it pay off to get my hair blown out by a stylist?

Tomorrow is a very important wedding (Yes, Sunday.) and I don't know what to do with my hair. I only have $20 left in my budget and really want my hair to look polished. I considered putting it up, but lack the skills to do so.

The salons I've seen are too expensive and not open on Sundays. The only real choice I have left that is within my budget is getting it blown out at Supercuts.

I have thin, long hair. Will it look the same as blow drying it at home, or should I spend my money on the service?

    Alternative suggestions are welcome. :)

(I'm wearing a black strapless dress, about knee-length; form- fitting pencil skirt shape bottom, with a heart neckline.)

  • Have you heard of e-waste? Do you have it?

"e-waste" or electronic waste is any electronics that have gone obsolete and are no longer used. These include: CPUs, monitors, TVs, keyboards, mice, speakers, printers, microwaves, faxes, Stereo/audio equipment, DVD players, VCRs, and cell phones.

In the U.S., only 9% of discarded electronics were recycled in 2003. (International Association of Electronics Recyclers)

Do YOU have e-waste? Are you aware of an e-cycling program in your community?

  • What do I say when people ask what I've given up for Lent?

I don't want to say because it is a personal spiritual struggle, not a contest or game. But people still ask, even fellow Catholics. So what can I say to not reveal what I'm abstaining from but still keep the situation friendly?

  • Did you try out for American Idol? What's the process?

My friends and I were wondering how many people you are allowed to take with you (mom, dad, etc), if they have to wait with you, when you eat, if you tell some people that they suck (behind their back perhaps), and if there has ever been a big fight...Feel free to describe any experience.

  • How to keep the neighbors from call the cops on our party?

We're throwing a Halloween party on Friday. How do we keep the neighbors from calling the police. There will be costumes, music, dancing, and alcoholic drinks.

Last time we threw one, a pissed off nieghbor came to the door at 12 am, demanding that we break it up or she would call the cops. The next door neighbors don't care, but some of the other neighbors do I guess.

  • My bf brushes his teeth in the shower, do you?

He does it because he's on the run and wants to save time. What about you?
