My friend's daughter's razor phone is sending messages to her friends list that she is not sending. It appears that a 'Spam Bot' application or some such has been loaded on the phone. Is this possible? Has anyone heard of this?

Boston is one of my favorite bands. We have the Rock Band game and I know there is one song from Boston on it. Does anyone know what venue this song is found at? We've managed to get past the point where we have the PR Firm so we're a good ways through the game. I just want to find this song!

A kitten weighing 12ozs is placed on a barstool so that it is elevated to 4ft 5in and has a sitting posture that place his head 8in higher. A 32oz baseball bat is then swung with a positive 5 degree from level swing and a calculated bat speed of 74mph.

At what height on the opposing wall that is at a 10ft distance will the little kitty's head hit? For extra credit, will this action actually cause decapitation and if not, how will this affect the trajectory calculation?

Ok.. I know this is sick, but it was what happens when a bunch of physics geeks were drinking to much and had access to a chalk board. No.. it was never done to determine if the calculations were done correctly nor do I recommend this to be done. Just curious about the formulas that are used.

I responded negatively to a 'pit bull' question and got (as expected) tons of "thumbs down" ratings. So here's my question, has there ever been a comparison chart created showing how many humans are killed each year by breed of dog? I think this would show in glaring detail the dangers of this breed. It seems every month there is at least 2 or 3 stories in the news about someone being killed or maimed by a pit bull. I've yet to see or hear anything to that degree about any other dog breed.

Am I that far off center here?

I am looking to purchase a laptop for my daughter for her school work. She excells academically so I'll need one that has strong points for educational/business type of functions.

However, she is also an aspiring singer and taking voice lessons. Therefore I would like to get a system that works with a laptop where she can mix digital instumentals (MP2, WAV, MIDI, etc), analog instrumentals (guitars, mic'ed drums and piano) and voice inputs. I am not looking for the high end professional stuff do to the expense, but one that she can create some tracks and burn to a CD and it will have a sound quality compariable to commercial music CD's.

I'm not concerned so much with the brand of the laptop unless there is a specific brand that has this type of system built into one of their configurations. Any suggestions for software, hardware, connections, advice, etc. will be greatly appreciated!

Here's the deal.. I know someone who has become 'born again' and are acting all righteous and yet they haven't made amends to all the people they have hurt by the previous actions. Personnally, I don't believe their holy revolution so I feel the are 'copping out' on the need to make amends to those they have wronged before they can truly be forgiven. I mean.. by not making amends to those they've hurt they really have repented ... they've just found an excuse to duck the responsibility.

Any ideas or passages that back this up?

In the game there are lots of small golden icons (I can't think of what their called) scatter about. These icons can supposedly do different things, improve populations, add gold, heal faster, etc. I have discovered that the 'heros' can pick these icons up and carry them around and 'drop them other places. What I can't figure out is how 'invoke the power' of the icon. Does this happen 'automatically' or is there something I must do to invoke the icon's power.

Also, the Egypt Mode, whats' the best use of the Pharaoh? I'm not quite sure how to use that guy/gal.

I have the following code in which I am trying to retrieve a record from an Access database using the autonumber field called "comp_it". Here's the code where I set up the SQL statement:

incmp = Request.QueryString("cmp_id")

inorg = Request.QueryString("origid")

incmplot = Request.QueryString("cmplot")

gsSQL = ""

gsSQL = gsSQL & "Select * FROM complaint WHERE comp_id = " & incmp

I know the comp_id field is numberic and I suspect the problem is the way the select statement is handling the incoming numberic vairable called incmp.

Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

When I use Windows Explorer and look at my folders' properties, they are marked at read only. I can easily drag and drop files from any folder and/or drive (including the CD drive) to any other folder. However, when I try to drag a file over from a shared network folder on my wife's PC I get a 'read only' message and the file won't copy. I get a message that says 'Access Denied'. This process used to work fine. I've tried defragging and ran checkdisk with the fix flag on but to no avail. Suggestions please.

I am thinking about purchasing Doom3 and want to play over my home wireless IP network. I have a couple of questions:

1) Do I have to have multiple purchased software CD's of Doom3 to have multiple computers running at same time?

2) Is the multiple player difficult to setup on an IP Network?

3) Is the performance of the game acceptable when played over a wireles network?
