Family split up, Dad's in Mass., Ma's in MI, I'm in CT?
My dad just moved to Massachusetts by himself for his job, and my mom stayed behind in Michigan while I go to school in CT, my parents are not divorced.
I spend at least half an hour on the phone with my mom everyday (because she's lonely) and then another half hour talking to my dad because he's also lonely. They both do not seem to eat 3 full meals a day because of their separation from the family, so I call them after mealtimes to make sure they've eaten.
Dad keeps talking about visiting me, and it's not like I hate his visiting, I would love for him to visit me but I also need to spend some time at school and take a break on the weekends without being busy going back and forth between MA and CT.
What should I do? I love my family but I don't know how to get some time for myself without cutting them off. I can't stop worrying about them, I don't know what else to do besides the constant phonecalls, visits, and reassurances.
5 AnswersFamily1 decade agoBest Travel Guide to Paris? (or even France, in general)?
I went to Paris last year and used the DK Eyewitness Travel Guide but was wondering if there's a more detailed one available, it's great for a short trip but I'm looking for one where I could plan a couple months for. Any good suggestions for travel guides??

3 AnswersOther - Europe1 decade agoWhen do garden tomatoes ripen?
I planted a tomato plant about a month ago, in June. A lot of tomatoes are hanging off the vine, but green... very big though. A week ago, a few started turning yellow... and that's where they stayed.
I couldn't stand it anymore so I picked the deepest yellows... and was surprised to find out that they taste exactly like red tomatoes?! Do you think they're really ripe? I thought I bought a red-tomato plant... Do you think I should pick them when they're a deep yellow? I'm so confused...
