Any party suggestions?
My siblings and I are trying to plan a 51st for our dad but so far all the cool ideas we've come up with are upwards of $1000. Any awesomely cool ideas for cheaper? Our dad's really hip so we can't just put out a plate of cupcakes and invite a few people over...this party has to rock.
3 AnswersEntertaining1 decade agoHow do you make a chart in Excel?
I keep trying to but it only uses two lines of my highlighted data. What is going on?
Also, I found some explanations online but they do nothing but confuse me so if you can answer as simply as possible I'd appreciate it.
Thank you!
1 AnswerSoftware1 decade agoWhere should I have my birthday party?
I'm turning 23. It'll be a Thursday night in NYC. Many of my friends don't know each other, so if you can think of a bar with some other entertainment (like pool tables, hookah, etc.) that is nice enough that I can rock a dress with high heels, that would be optimal.
First prize is an invitation to the party! Just kidding...but any bit of advice is helpful. :)
2 AnswersEntertaining1 decade agoMy heart's been beating very hard for about an hour now, why?
I had half a cup of coffee this morning (less than usual) and I slept 8 hours last night. I haven't done anything out of the ordinary this morning.
6 AnswersOther - General Health Care1 decade agoCan you get the flu from someone if they breathe in your face?
My brother had the flu and now I have the flu and I'm fairly certain he gave it to me by breathing in my face twice on Saturday. My parents think I'm ridiculous and that you can only get the flu through sharing food or similar ways to that. So...can you get the flu from someone with the flu breathing in your face?
4 AnswersInfectious Diseases1 decade agoIf I've had water in a vase with a flower, is it safe to drink?
The water's only a week old at this point and there's very little. It's just a shot glass filled with water and a flower. My co-worker and I made a bet that the first person to make $1000 in one day has to drink it. Will I get sick when I do this?

I've been parking there daily since September. Also, this is in New York City.
2 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agoWhat is depth perception related to--where does it come from?
I've noticed that I have terrible depth perception at night and I was wondering where your depth perception comes from, since whether I wear my glasses or not (it's a really low prescription) doesn't make a difference. Also, I was wondering if I have the same problem during the day, but just don't realize because there are so many other ways to tell distance during the day.
2 AnswersOther - Health1 decade agoWhat can I do to take out a crick in my foot?
I sometimes get a crick in my foot, right in the arch, and I was wondering if anyone can offer me tips on how to relieve the pain. Thank you!
2 AnswersOther - Health1 decade agoHuman Saliva and Mosquito Bites--Fact or Fiction?
I once heard that if you apply saliva or salt water to a mosquito bite, it will help draw out the itch. Is that true and, if so, why?
6 AnswersBiology1 decade agoHow do people feel pain?
I was just wondering about why some people say they have a "high tolerance" for pain--how does the brain measure what we feel and how does it vary from person to person?
2 AnswersBiology1 decade agoWhat is the origin for the word "often"? Or, more importantly, why is there a silent "T"?
I know many English words have spellings that were narrowed down from a board range of random spellings, but I was wondering particularly about "often". Thanks!
