I am 15 weeks pregnant with our first child.

We don't know if it's a girl or boy yet but we have been trying to decide on names.

For a girl, we will name her Ellie Nova.

For a boy, we like Kelton Dane or Dane Kelton.

We aren't going to change the names we just want some opinions on them.

What kind of personality do you think each name would come with?

Ellie Isobel.

Does it flow nicely? Our last name starts with S and is one syllable (not Smith).

My husband and I like the name Ellie. But we don't have a middle name!

We don't like popular names like Ava, Olivia, Madison, Jayden, McKenzie, Sophia;

or 'filler' names like Ann, Grace, Rose, Hope, Marie, Lynn, Sue, ect.

We also like Cecily.

So my husband and I will be trying to conceive soon. We have a boy name set in stone (Dane Kelton). However, we can't decide a girl name. We both like Ellie a lot but it just doesn't have a 'spark'. I heard the name 'Ridley' today and I love it! My question is, is it too far out there? What does it remind you of?

Btw, last name starts with an 'S' and is one syllable. Middle name will be Adalia. (MIL's middle. It's a tradition in her family to pass the middle name of the women down. Plus, I love it.)

So I asked a question last night on girl names (boy names too). We decided to nix some names, add some others. Our last name starts with an S and is one syllable. Middle name would be Adalia. (uh-doll-ee-uh). Be warned, we like unusual names.

I have really fallen in deep like with the nickname Ellie. (Used to like Elena but someone ruined the name by association, long story). For me, it's just not strong enough as a first name. So I really need first name suggestions that we could tie with it. I should mention that I do not like the name Eleanor. Middle name would most likely be Adalia. Last name starts with an 'S'. So, names that end with 's' aren't favorable either.
