When cleaning our closet today we found a leak that had caused our drywall to grow mold.

I was a little worried about the mold so I first called the maintenance crew at our apartments. They fixed the leak and cleaned the mold off the walls with a rag. Not thrilled with that solution, I pushed them to do more. They set up an appointment for someone to come replace the drywall next week.

I didn't want to continue to breathe mold until then, so I did some research and found that bleachwater sprayed on the mold will kill the visible parts and minimize spore secretion. So I mixed about one cup of bleach with about five cups of warm water, sprayed the wall, let it sit for fifteen minutes and then wiped it away with a rag. I was wearing a mask, but I did get a bit of bleachwater on my skin when cleaning.

Now I've got a headache. I know after researching that I put in more bleach than I should have proportionally to the water. The room is completely empty now minus a fan blowing the fumes of the moldy/bleached area towards an open window. My question is two fold -

1) What should I have done differently in this situation for self cleanup of mold

and

2) What should I do now? Is the bleach the cause of my headache? Would it have been best to let the mold sit? What are some signs of bleach poisoning?

I'm completing a rental application and there are a few typical questions, such as name, address, rental history, income, etc. But then there are some questions such as social security number, and checking account number that strike me as unnecessary and information that should be kept private. Are these types of questions typical? Should I leave them blank on the form?

My wife has poor credit and no income (she is a student) but I have decent income and average credit. I think her applying for the loan will hurt more than help. Can I do this, and will I need a cosigner or can I be the only one responsible for the loan?

Long story short a coworker is harassing me. I've tried contacting management about this in the past (different manager) but there were no results. This new manager is nice but I believe they would be hesitant to take action.

I've been told contacting HR is an acceptable way of reporting harassment in the workplace. My question is, will it come back to bite me? Will it make my manager look less favorably upon me? Will I be less likely to receive a promotion because I reported it? Am I more likely to get laid off because of it? Is it really that different from contacting my manager directly?

Luckily I'm not directly involved with this, but I am subject to watching everything happen and I'm disgusted by it. I have a coworker who's been employed for about 4 months. In multiple instances I have watched her lie and manipulate my manager and other coworkers. I suspect she is trying to become a supervisor or get a shift change (we work nightshift and she wants dayshift, but there's a pecking order she is at the bottom of.) She has gone as far as taking pictures of other coworkers 'sleeping' (pictures she manipulates in photoshop) and fabricating in depth stories about these same coworkers being aggressive towards her or not doing their share of the work.

The worst part is she's got our manager believing every word. I've attempted to approach him about this before just to let him know what I've seen as a neutral observer but no changes have been made.

How should I deal with this? It's only a matter of time before she turns on me as well.

We are on a moderate income and while not poor, we can't afford a several thousand dollar wedding and neither of our parents can help us out.

She's convinced that we should save up and wait so we can have a dream wedding. When I try to talk to her about having the wedding sooner and spending less she tells me she doesn't want a half assed wedding, and that if we were to have the wedding sooner we wouldn't have enough money for anything but a half assed wedding.

Advice? I'm sick of waiting to get married and honestly spending that much money on a wedding seems silly to me.

I have a health insurance policy that is withdrawn directly from my bank accoutn so my bills are never late. I've never gone to an out of network provider.

I went to fill my prescription today and was told my insurance was no good. I got online and saw that I have an inactive policy. I owe them no money, and they sent me no notification of my policy terminating.

They offered to start a new policy for me but my deductable had already been met on my last one so I would lose money by doing this. They didn't give me any explanation for why my original policy was cancelled. What are my options? I'm very frustrated over all of this.

What, aside from principal and interest, might I be paying for every month to live in a house?
