I love the idea of having my second little one-but am getting WAY bored-already! LOL! I work P/T during the week-half-days- and have family around-hubby travels for work so is here some weeks-gone others--Need some suggestions-(I knit, sew, cook, paint-do crafty stuff-but am not so into those right now...) and I cannot do active stuff anymore-dr.'s advice-so no exercise or major outings---

Anyone else out there in my situation? Any ideas? (I have an 8 year old so I can do things with him)

I made a poncho in mauve taupe in a drapey fabric but now it feels too dull...How can I spice it up? I was thinking rhinestones...or some embroidery or tassles--I would like color suggestions as well...Thanks!

My husband and I are planning on going to Paris for our anniversary for 3-6 days, next year in early February. We will go to the Louvre. Any suggestions/descriptions of other museums or sites that will work during the winter?

We are also open to suggestions for romantic hotels, etc., near tourist attractions.

I want to buy my husband a guitar for the Holidays--He will be a beginning student--I want him to like the guitar though--for it to look beautiful --for it to invite him to pick it up and play--and we want the guitar to be good for Spanish music too--There are so many guitars out there now--I have no idea where to start --Any suggestions would be appreciated...

We are moving and my son will be going to another school. His school now is a small 150 person school and he will be going to a public 450 person school. My son will be entering 2nd grade in the fall. What activities will help us get to know the other kids in the neighborhood best? And is joining the PTA/PTO a good idea? At our last school it was NOT very active at all--the school did what they wanted to so I'm not exactly sure what PTA's do... I have some ideas but I'd like to hear what other parents have done.
