I am only 25 but my hair is really thinning, there is only a thin layer of hair on my forehead, and it is really noticeable when I don't wash my hair for a day and it gets oily.

Right now, my U-Verse modem/router (Motorola NVG510) is connected to a dual-port DSL filter, with a phone also connected to the filter, which is connected to the wall.

I only get about upper 5's to 6 db of SN (signal to noise ratio) margin downstream, so I want to know what your prediction will be of the increase I will get from connecting the modem directly to the wall and getting rid of the filter and phone?

Will the increase be significant enough to inconvenience myself of not having a phone in that area?

On my new Netgear 7550 modem+router combination from AT&T, whenever I turn off the computers connected to it, for some reason, the lights stay on.

Specifically, the Ethernet 1 light connected through Ethernet on one computer and the Wireless light connected wirelessly to another computer stay on (solid green) even after both computers are shut down and off.

Is this normal behavior for this specific modem? Or what can I do to fix this?

I am looking to buy the cheapest USB wireless internet adapter to connect wirelessly from an old computer (windows xp) to a wireless gateway.

I also want a reliable one that won't break down for years and that also won't mess with the computer, just provide a wifi connection. Also, one that won't mess up the gateway it's connecting to.

Hi, my parents are always pressuring me to help them buy a "wireless" modem/gateway for our DSL service, because they don't like cables connecting everywhere, but I am a little confused on this, because we already have "wireless internet gateway" that acts as a modem/router combination and it supports wifi connections...

So my question is, is it actually possible to have a literally "wireless" gateway that don't require any cables to plug in to it...? Or did my parents get the definition wrong and "wireless" really means wifi connections?

I need a very detailed step by step explanation on this.

So technically, the answer would be Yes since an employee CAN work for 6 hours with no meal period if its waived by employee and employer.

But the problem is I don't know if the teacher is trying to trick me or not and the answer could be No, since he didn't put anything about the meal period being waived...
