  • Natural Hickory Smoke Flavor vegan?

I have a bottle of Kraft Hickory Smoke Barbecue sauce. The only questionable ingredient is natural hickory smoke flavor.

Is it safe to assume it is vegan?

  • Using xbox 360 wireless drums on a ps3?

I know this is a question that will get answers like "No, it just can't work". But I'm asking anyway because I know there are people out there that enjoy doing stuff like this.

Anyway, I have a Rock Band 2 wireless drum set, and I would like to be able to mod it to work on my PS3. I'm capable and willing to do soldering and buy some simple parts to make it work. So if anyone can give me ANY direction on how to do this, or a link to somewhere with them, I will be so grateful. Thanks guys and girls.

  • Best Buy Bill me later?

I know a lot of stores have this option, but I was wondering if anyone here has ever bought something from Best Buy, via the Bill me Later program / option? If you have; does it work out good, are there any unexpected fine print catches? And if you applied and got rejected, why did they do so / what are the requirements (credit wise, etc).

    Thanks a lot in advance.

  • Roll starting a car backwards?

Usually when you roll start a car (stick shift) you push it forwards and put it in a forward gear (1, 2, etc) but what happens if you push the car backwards and roll start it in 1st? Would it start and spin the engine backwards? I know it may be a childish question, but is there a mechanism that stops this from happening?

I saw a local ad for picking grapes that pays $3 per 25 pounds picked, and it also said people typically pick 3-5 of them per hour. I was curious if 25 pounds is alot to pick, or would atleast 3 boxes of 25lbs not be too hard per hour? thanks for any help

  • Slaves of the money chain?

Everyone knows this already, I assume, but I've been thinking about the way our economy works, and that includes our government. And I wonder why people put up with being part of it.

At the bottom you have regular workers, that work for a company and essentially are the reason the company makes money. These people are taxed for their wages several times; when they get paid, when they buy things, property tax. Then the businesses which makes back the money they paid to their employees when they buy things. And then the government last of all makes money off of everyone.

Why do we as people put up with not only being at the bottom of the economic food chain, but also trading something that can never be bought back (Time) for money that's value is completely subjective.....

And yes, when you work you trade a non replaceable period of your life, for an expendable amount of currency, go ahead and try to pay your employer $20 and get two hours of your life back. It's insanity.

  • Eye lid swollen, do I need to drain it?

I was working outside yesterday and I think I was bitten by a small bug on the corner of my eye. Anyway last night when I went to bed my eye lid was slightly swollen, and when I woke up this morning, it's swollen to the point where my eye sits only about halfway open. Should I drain it somehow? Is there a safe way to do so?

  • Anyone good at color pics on the computer?

I've got some illustrations I drew, and just for fun I'd like them to be in color. I'm far from good at using Photoshop though. As far as colors go I'd like them to be more on the realistic side, but feel free to do w\e, just leave the lines the way they are :P. Thanks to anyone who wants to do this, I understand it may be a lot to ask. Comments are welcome as well.

  • Exhaust problem 1995 Saturn?

When I drive my 1995 Saturn SL, I can smell fumes inside the car, and the car idles somewhat unsteady. When I purchased the car I was told it needed a new muffler. Today while the car was idling and went back to the muffler and put my hand at the tip and noticed there was NO exhaust flowing out of it at all. What could my problem be? and an idea of cost to fix it?

    Thanks alot

  • Vegetarian / Vegan blood transfusions?

I'm serious about being a vegetarian, and I am one for almost every reason you can think of. I recently wondered if there is a form or way or something that if you are vegan or vegetarian and in need of a blood transfusion at some point, that you can receive blood from people that are the same, and not from people that do eat meat. I know this may sound like a ridiculous question, but the thought of it just bothered me a bit. And plus I am just curious. Also if anyone here has any medical experience or whatever, can you tell me differences between diet types and how they effect blood?

  • Does the fact that your life is severely limited by others bother you?

Laws, Government, even what people will do if you wear or do certain things. In my mind the world is a playground, but people seem to block off bits and pieces, making the possibilities so much less.

Thoughts? Anything and everything is welcome!

  • Ever Realize that doing new things is rarely if ever encouraged?

Getting a bit deep here, and if anyone feels attacked, I apologize. Being in senior year of high school, I am in a weird situation as I watch nearly ALL of my peers filling out college applications, and going on to school to study and become professionals and teachers and such that so many other people have become before, and will be becoming along with them. And it dawned on me that my idea of success and what I wanted to do in life, was seen by most other people as "stupid" or "how are you going to live?" "don't you want money and a house?". It made me realize that everyone in our society basically follows the same path as everyone else, nothing new is encouraged.

I'm curious what people think about this? I'm not insulting anyone or anything, just throwing thoughts out there.

  • Is marriage law based or religion based?

When ever gay marriage is brought up, people belonging to certain religions say that marriage is only between a man and a woman, for religious reasons, and that marriage is religious. But marriage can be regulated by the government, and you need to get a license to get married. So which is marriage based on?

Might have worded this horribly, but oh well haha, thanks for any answers.

  • A couple Used car questions?

My first question is: I see alot of cars online in my area that are going for anywhere from $100 to $500. What Can I expect from cars of this price? Their descriptions say the good and the bad, but are there any other catches to buying a car of this price?

My other question is: When you buy a used car from someone, you don't have insurance or anything on it yet. Can you still drive it home, and what do you do if you are pulled over while driving home?

    Thanks so much guys!
