  • How to download photos in Group?

It looks like the way photos are handled in Groups has changed and there is now no easy way to download a photo to my PC. Am I missing something? Why did they "fix" something by breaking it?!? :(

  • How has the Bible been disproven?

According to WhynotaskKhan in this question - http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AlHnD...

"The fact that the bible has been disproven makes me boggle at how anyone could still take anything is says seriously anyway."

Just wondering where the proof (not opinion) that the Bible is false can be found. Supposed "contradictions" are not proof (especially since most of them are merely a lack of understanding, not contradictions).

  • For the LDS here - why a prophet at the top?

If the LDS church is set up like it was at the time of Christ, why is there a prophet in charge? There was no prophet in charge of the church, the 12 apostles were the leadership after Christ, correct? What about:

1Cr 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

A prophet is under the apostles according to this.

  • Is this an example of non-Christian logic?

    Here - http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AjxLF...

musicblue99 makes a response that I'd like to take sentence by sentence:

"You ain't goin to hell cause there is no such place." - How do you know?

"There's no god either because there is no evidence that god ever did anything. " - Huh?!? What kind of logic is that?

We'll break down the last one into two parts:

"Prayin people never get what they asked for ..." - I've received a lot of answers to prayers. Wrong again

"...but they don't know how to stop believin' because it was put into them from when they were babies" - I didn't become a Christian until I was 16 and had never been taught anything about religion until then. I'd heard about God, but didn't know what it was all about.

Why do non-Christians make such blatantly wrong statements, but flame Christians for things we DO know about. It's incredibly hypocritical.

  • Follow up to another question...?

From this question - http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AoMQj... many people said Christians are wrong about there being a God. I'd like to ask how they know this? What proof do you have to make such statements? And don't say it's up to me to provide the proof, you guys are the ones making the statements.

  • Looking for the proof that non-Christians must have...?

since they continually state over and over that God is a fairy tale. Surely they wouldn't be making a statement like that without proof, right? They clearly wouldn't engage in the hypocrisy they accuse us Christians of, would they?

  • For those like Yoda Green who say there is no God...?

How did you go about proving it? If you didn't PROVE it, why do you make such statements? Aren't you being a bit hypocritical by doing so when you flame Christians for believing in God?

  • If the Bible was created by man, why is God protrayed so negatively?

This is a question I've never seen a non-Christian answer sufficiently and I'm interested in seeing someone logically address it.

Many of the non-Christians here say the Bible is nothing more than a story, a work of fiction. If that is the case, why does God do the things he does in the Old Testament? Also every non-Christian I've seen post anywhere says they refuse to believe in a God that does such things. If the Bible were created by man to control the masses (as I've seen claimed) why wouldn't they portray God more positively to draw people to him? If the Bible is just a work of fiction it would not be logical to make God seem to be the bad guy non-Christians try to make him out to be and then say "This is the God you have to worship". "You attract more flies with honey than vinegar", right?

I hope the non-Christians will seriously think about this before answering.

  • Former Christians - did you talk to Christians about your doubts?

I've seen responses saying basically "I began studying, then doubting, then became a non-Christian". What I'd like to know is, while you were studying did you bother studying with a strong Christian who could answer your questions or did you just decide for yourself that Christianity was wrong? If the latter, is that really a valid method to make a determination?

For those that had the following type of experience:

" I went to church weekly, heard the hellfire and brimstone sermons, went to Sunday school and questioned questioned & again questioned. The questions weren't taken too kindly. I was told that I was just supposed to believe and have faith. I never did."

Did you bother to find someone who would answer your questions? Is it fair to just give up searching for answers?

Most answers I've seen seem to be of the type that the person just decided Christianity was wrong. I'm wondering why these people think that's a realistic method of determining truth?
