i can't find this custom made book anywhere else but in the Schools bookstore.

is the UCSD's custom a lot different from the regular one?

I always see on TV that cops or members of security agencies like FBI and CIA show their badges, but if somebody showed me their badge or a search warrant in real life i would have no idea if it was real or not.

like.. "hey im agent White FBI here is my badge"

so yesterday i was reading a biography on the life of julius caesar and it said that at the time he was fighting Pompeii he had 9 legions and 22 cohorts under his command.

so my question is why "22 cohorts" and not simply 11 legions (why the extra two).

were those cohorts members of previous legions who had suffered so many casualties in the previous wars that they didn't have the number required to be a "legion" again?

it was really strange. i was almost finished working out when i noticed that this girl was staring at me. but i mean really staring. other girls have stared at me at the gym before and im perfectly ok with it. usually as soon as i turn around to look at them they just look another way or something. but not this one this one just kept on staring like forever. i really didnt know what to do i tried to pretend i didnt see her but she didnt stop staring. so i just smiled to her but since i felt really uncomfortable i just finished my workout and left. i regret it now... sort off.

so what can i do or say to her if i see her again the next time i go to the gym

ok, so lets say you are in a perfectly sealed room and you turn on a flash and you turn it back off really quickly. the light particles generated by the flashlight would light up a limited space and then scatter making things dark again. so my question is, if you keep the flashlight on, it keeps making more light doesn't it? so waves and particles of light keep flowing into the room and that would make the room light up entirely with light when it ' fills up" wouldn't it? so you could lit up a huge room completely even with a small source of light if the light couldn't escape?
